This has been a busy week from tick and mosquito sprays to island browntail moth check ups to weedwacking and mowing, pruning and even squeezing time for an oil change in the gmc. A little bit of everything :)

Another happy customer. This job was a project that we had to do in stages but we are finally done! Lots and lots of stone. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this possible, I really couldn't ask for a better crew of guys. These clients now have two large walkways and a dog run. These photos don't give it much justice.

Browntail moth caterpillars have officially emerged in Bar Harbor. If this gives any perspective to their size in the first instar.

Just a reminder we will be away from March 19th- 26th. We are headed to Illinois to watch our son Thelan graduate Navy boot camp. See everyone for the start of the season April 1st. Tick sprays and trunk injections will start April 1st, make sure to get on the schedule while there's still time. Thank you everyone, here's looking forward to another season.

It's time for more surgery.

Browntail moth nest removal, beautiful day to prune apple trees and remove these pesky caterpillar nests. Some nests even had browntail caterpillars on the outside and alive. Hopefully the cold weather will kill them. First time ever a 2 for 1, a browntail nest attached to an Eastern tent caterpillar nest. Cool stuff..

Don't forget February is browntail moth awareness month, make sure to clip those nests before they emerge. If you or someone you know needs browntail moth help feel free to contact us!

We can't wait!!! Don't forget to get on the 2024 spray season schedule before we book up, tick and mosquito sprays fill up quickly. Trunk injections to start in April possibly sooner depending on the weather. Looking forward to the 2024 growing season :)

After a long few weeks this job is done until May. What started out as a simple water drainage system turned into a full fledged dog run and 3 walkways.. very happy to finally button down part 1 of this project, stay tuned for part 2 next year :) Thank you to our clients for allowing us the opportunity to give them the landscape they dreamed of. Pictures don't give the project any justice but if the clients are happy then we are happy. Thank you to everyone who helped!!

Due to today's high winds all sprays have had to be postponed. I will start with Ellsworth tomorrow then Hancock, Sorrento, Sullivan and hopefully end the day in Trenton. Southwest and surrounding areas has been postponed to Sunday and hopefully Monday if weather permits. I apologize for the inconvenience but I can not control the weather :) thank you for understanding.

Beautiful day for trunk injections, the oaks are drawing beautifully! A day spent with my mini me ❤️ at Terra More campground in Bar Harbor/ town hill driving around on a golf cart injecting the trees we tagged last month. Harmony was on plug duty and math duty, she sure is growing up fast and surprises me daily. Some day this will be her and her siblings company.

19 ash trees heavily infested with emerald ash borer and 5 red oaks loaded with browntail moth caterpillars, after I injected these trees I noticed this client's apple tree had 3 nests so I clipped them out. The browntail is very much awake and active.

The new quick jet air micro- injection system came in today! Waited a long time to be able to make this jump but here it is! This system will allow for more trees to be injected with less time so I'm able to take on more jobs :)
