Rescues can not keep up these days and neither can our shelters 😭😢

Breaking us down mentally and physically in rescue as we try to go out in the streets to save as many as we can 😭
Neighborhoods where dogs run loose not spay and neutered makes this problem harder on us.

These 7 sweet tiny CHI mix baby’s are now with me at my house.

Safe, warm, eating good, started Vet care today. Getting everything they need to clear their little systems of worms and parasites

This beautiful 6 week old baby girl came to me today.

She was free at a flea market 😢😡

She had a awful swollen face and neck from a bite of some sort 🪳 🕷️

So a nice person took her and got her vet care 💝

Once she was well I was able to take her into PAWS, Inc.

She’s doing wonderful today, started all her vet care for her age. 🥰

Last night I went out and got these 2 Chi mix baby’s

Only 6 weeks of age

They were a owner surrender

Today they started their vetting
Good puppy food and in a fabulous foster home.

So many unwanted dogs and pups these days. 😢😩

I can’t help them or save them with out all of you helping with their care 🙏🏼🙌🏼

He’s had all of his vaccines and vetting
He’s on meds for his skin to heal and fur is growing back great 😊
He’s on preventatives

As I sit here holding this sweet innocent 5lb little boy at 3am at the vet on Christmas morning while everyone sleeps

My self and the Dr talking about how cruel someone has been to this tiny fellow.

He has been severely abused, this is not a hit by car nor a attack
It’s purely human at fault

We’ve done all we can, as I was prepared to miss Christmas Day because our next trip was about to be Greenville SC dental surgeon.

There’s no way to repair the damage done.
Little Kodas bottom mouth and jaw has been broken again and again from newer to older breaks in so many places, there’s so many breaks and calcified older breaks.
The damage is nothing but torturous 😭
The infection is so deep into the face, throat and lymph nodes
His back teeth are covered in infection and falling out when touched.

He’s been thru absolute hell!! Pain and abuse.

Holding him giving him as much love and comfort as I can 😭

I’m so sorry that the damage is beyond what surgeons can repair and the agony Lil Koda would continue to go thru is not fair.

Thank you all for being supportive and understanding.

My decisions tonight are not not easy.

His suffering has to end, Rest well sweet boy, I am so sorry, you never deserved what you’ve been through at the hands of a human

You are loved because I loved you tonight and you knew that!

It’s time for a Christmas Miracle 🐶 today !!

Yes Lil Koda is safe 🐶🐾❤️‍🩹

I found out this morning that a tiny little one 🐶 had been dropped at the North Augusta shelter this morning with a injury to the jaw

The shelter volunteers were reaching out to save this little Yorkie fast

I waited, I made my self sick with worry this morning

I couldn’t let it stay there.

Thanks 🙏🏼 out to Toni King-Smith and Robin Lynn for jumping in to make things happen fast and Leigh Anna for going to pick him up for me from the shelter so that I could get this Lil pup safe today 🙏🏼🙌🏽🐾

There was a chance that he was going to be euthanized this morning. 🥹😪
My mind could not handle that !!

He’s seen the vet thru the shelter which seem to think maybe broken jaw, older injury and not recent.
Little Koda is on pain meds, able to eat soft food

He’s safe, resting and will be going to my vet !!!

Definitely a Christmas miracle ‼️🎅🏼🎄

8-acre space to be future home for Aiken Co. skateboarders and rescue pups Eight acres of undeveloped land will hopefully turn into a home for skateboarders and a much-needed space for hundreds of rescue dogs.

Long day of rescue but we got 24. 💕🐶
All sizes and shapes, it was a sad situation but all the sweet baby’s are safe now.
