School supply lists for the 2024-2025 school year are now available!

As you prepare to stock up for another school year, remember that Florida's Back to School Sales Tax holiday runs from July 29th through August 11th.

If your middle school child is due for the Tdap immunization, then take advantage of one of the two remaining back to school clinics at Kissimmee Middle School (June 20th) and Bellalago Academy (June 26th). The Florida Department of Health in Osceola County is hosting these clinics at no cost and no appointments are necessary.

Our HR team is hosting a Teacher Job Fair next Thursday, June 27th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you have an eligible teaching certificate and would like to work with us for the 2024-2025 school year, please visit https://jobs.osceolaschools.net/2024-teacher-job-fair-june-27th/job/28193719 to submit an application. Invitations will be sent to individuals who complete an application and are eligible to teach in our district.

Today, five of Mrs. Gomez’s medical assisting students from Osceola Technical College kicked off a five week practicum at Nemours Children’s Hospital. They will gain experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Pulmonology & General Surgery, Neurology, Endocrinology, and Rheumatology. Thank you, Nemours for this fantastic partnership!

Save the date! During our Meet The Teacher events, students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with their new teachers and classroom environments before the first day of school, which can reduce anxiety and help students feel more comfortable and confident. Meet the Teacher will also provide parents an opportunity to establish a personal connection with their child's teacher(s), which can facilitate better communication and collaboration throughout the school year.

All high schools and Osceola County School for the Arts will host their Meet The Teacher event on Wednesday, August 7th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

All middle and K-8 schools will host their Meet The Teacher event on Thursday, August 8th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

All elementary schools will host their Meet The Teacher event on Friday, August 9th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
