Alright folks, we’re 2 days away from rodeo time.
Here’s a few things to remember.

Tickets to rodeo are CASH ONLY!!!!

Gates open at 6PM both nights, rodeo starts at 7:30

The rodeo will be held at the Walker co fairgrounds on airport road, just past the farmers market on the right. There are signs hanging where to turn.

There will be food vendors onsite, and some vendors for the kids to enjoy.

It looks like we’re going to have 2 good nights weather wise, so come on out and cheer on the contestants.

Reminder, our drawing for 4 weekend passes will be drawn tomorrow night, so go to the original post and follow the instructions to get entered.

We are excited for another year of rodeoing and hope to see y’all there.

Big Weekend! The Buttahatchee River Fall Fest in Hamilton Saturday 10/28 from 8-3. Fall Fest in downtown Jasper Sunday from 3-6. Then on Halloween we will be back in Oakman from 5-8!!

Thanksgiving Special: 3 sides, gravy, one dozen yeast rolls and 1 dessert for $150.00. Sides will be half sheet trays serving 10-12.

Side Options:

Sweet Potato Casserole with pecan topping (Ruth's Chris recipe)
Bacon Crack Green Beans (topped with our sweet & spicy bacon crack)
Mashed Potatoes
Cornbread Dressing (with chicken)

Additional sides can be purchased for $30 per side.

All pies are homemade (yes, even the crust) and will come in a real pie plate for you to keep, not the flimsy aluminum ones!

All orders must be submitted by noon on Wednesday November 15. Meals and sides can be delivered frozen with heating instructions.

Pick-up in Nauvoo on Monday, November 20 or I can meet you in Jasper, after 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday-Wednesday, November 21-22. No pick up or delivery after the 22nd.

The 5th Annual Harvest Festival is this weekend, Saturday, September 30th, on the historic Courthouse square in downtown Moulton, Alabama.

Some of our vendors include: Keisha’s Paparazzi, LouAllen Farms, Mady’s Mission, JA Prints, Bonnie Johnson, Sandra Givens knives and Scentsy, Sweet Tea & Vinyls, T-Mobile, Shaw & Co, Apex Real Estate, Farmers Chic Freeze Dried Candy, the Lunch Wagon, the Cajun Gator, Pop’s Cafe, the Cookie Monster, and many, many more!!

LCHPS will be hosting Bingo and Go Fish games for kids of all ages. Local merchants have donated some fabulous prizes for winners. Also, a bake sale with many delicious desserts will be located inside the Lawrence County Archives during the Festival.

Woodruff Farms will have the Petting Zoo available on the east side of the square for your enjoyment.

The Remnants will provide live music 10am-1pm and singer/songwriter Tim Knecht will perform 1pm-4pm. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the day on the square!
