Hey y’all👋🏼 It’s been a hot minute so I figured I’d reintroduce myself and share a little BTS of Harvest Waffles. As many of you know, I’ve been living in California for the last few years and doing missions work, but traveling back and forth quite a few times a year and doing pop ups and events anytime I’m in town.
One day, the dream is to have a waffle cafe and be able to do this thing fulll on, but for now I feel called to travel and continue doing missions which is part of the joy of being a small business owner. Making waffles and gathering people is one of my greatest joys and I love to do it every chance I can!
So here’s the good news 👀👀👀
I am back in Lake Charles until the end of the year… which means ALL the waffles parties coming your way!!! 🎉🎉🎉
We are now taking waffle orders and available for pop ups, events, or to cater your next business meeting or party!

Hey y’all! Long time no see! I’ve been taking a break from harvest (but still somehow making waffles all the time anyway for friends) haha as I have been working on some big projects. But the good news is, I will be back in Louisiana all of June 🎉🎉
Which means, pop ups, deliveries, catering, and all the things I’ll be available for. So if you need your harvest waffles fix, a party catered for, a conference, you name it, I would be over the moonnnnn to be a part of your special event! 🎉

Where it all began
HI! My name is Kenzie and I’m 22 years old living in Lake Charles, Louisiana. After high school, I moved to Charlotte, NC where I interned for Elevation church and worked for Proverbs 31 ministries as the social media coordinator. With no college degree, I found myself in a position I was so unqualified for. And this is where my story all began. Those 3 years of living away made me realize our purpose has little to do with our qualifications and everything to do with our passion.
While living in Charlotte, I became passionate about pursuing a healthy lifestyle. I was the girl often found with cupcakes stuffed in her car while piling sugar on everything and anything I could find. TBH I didn’t know a thing about health and really didn’t care about the foods I put in my body. But something shifted and I knew I needed a change. And I had no idea how much my life would change for the better just by the foods I was eating. I’m a big believer in going after your dreams, and I knew if I was going to live the life I always dreamed of living I needed to take care of my body to have the energy to keep up with this lifestyle.
At this time in my life, I was living in a house with my best friend where we would make healthy waffles and coffee every weekend and often have people over for brunch. 9 out of 10 times my waffles would stick to the waffle maker and come out AWFUL. Just keepin’ it real, ya girl was not skilled in the kitchen. But it was so much more than just simply making waffles, what I really loved was to gather people. To create a space for people to laugh, dream, and be present.
For years it’s just been my go-to thing. I was always challenging myself to come up with my own recipes and mix different ingredients together to make waffles that were packed with healthy carbs, fats, and sweet without all the sugar. Nothing makes me come more alive than being in the kitchen creating and setting the atmosphere for people to come together and feel right at home. I never would’ve dreamed it would eventually turn it into a business.
