Our Story

My hubby and I got married in July 2014. We both had busy jobs but we decided in January of 2015 that we wanted to try to start a family. Much to our surprise, despite my health issues, we were blessed to find out that we were pregnant very quickly. We were so excited! Long story short, our son Raygen was born and passed on October 15th, 2015 due to complications from something called Limb Body Wall Complex. After our son died I struggled A LOT. It was a very dark time for me and my husband. I lost who I was and what my purpose was in life. I felt so incredibly lost and alone. As I started to heal, I started looking for something to spark anything even remotely like passion and purpose in my life again. One day, I came across a fb post by a friend that was talking about joining her direct sales company team. I had a passion for sales and thought that it might be something worth checking into. I looked into the company and decided to take the leap and start selling leggings. I liked it and it did help to spark a little something in me but I knew it wasn’t the perfect fit for me long term. I kept looking for other companies and doing research on them. I ended up joining several different ones and I was passionate about everything I sold and honestly, I still use the stuff from all of the stuff that I sold and love it all but I still knew that they weren’t my perfect fit. I found Paparazzi on FB one day when a friend of mine was doing a live show. I saw her on there off and on for a couple of months before I really got intrigued and just had to see what she was doing lol. I started watching her shows and it was so much fun! One day I had the realization that I knew it was what I wanted to do. So in October 2017 when our second son was six months old I took the leap and joined. That decision has been one of the best decisions I have ever made and has totally changed the course of my life! Six months after joining, I was able to quit my job. One year and seven months after I quit my job, my husband was able to quit his full time job and join me in working this business! My mind is so completely blown at the idea that my husband and I can work from home and set our own work schedule and spend time with our son whenever we want. We can go on vacations without having to beg a boss to try to get time off. We can take a break and have a ping pong championship battle with our son on the dining room table in the middle of the day if we want to. We don’t have an annoying alarm clock waking us up every morning. And we have the power to decide what our income is going to be. How many jobs can give you that??? I never knew that this kind of life existed. I thought that you had to work a job that you hated all of your life, miss out on your family and doing what you wanted to do, and then when you were old enough, you would retire, but by that time your health wouldn’t be too great and you couldn’t do all of the fun things that you wanted to do when you were younger but you couldn’t do because you had to work. And then you died with the regrets of living but never really living. Hmmmm... “Cynical much?”, you might be saying? Lol. Maybe, but that has been my lifelong view of how life looks like it works and from my 34 years of experience I kinda hafta admit that I had a point. I want to enjoy my life and my husband and my living son. I want to be there when he learns new things, read books with him, play with him, and teach him that hard work and determination pays off. I want him to know that there are more opportunities out there than a 9-5 job if he chooses to go that direction. Life is way too short to not be able to spend time with the people that you love. Money is a renewable resource, time is not. You are only given a certain amount of time on this Earth and nothing you can do will get you any more time than what God has alotted for you. Use it well!
