It’s a wrap, I’ve completed my first year in my new position as Adjunct Professor at KCAD in Grand Rapids, Fashion Studies program.
It’s been an engaging year with students teaching sewing, pattern making, draping, fabrics, design, etc.

Homecoming

This is a cool idea!

My niece started bringing me floppy hats to embroider for her friends who were getting married a few years ago. It seems they're a hit because now her friends reach out when they need one for other friends and family who are getting married 😊

I was able to get this one done pretty quickly for a bridal shower this past weekend. Still one of my favorite things to stitch 💜

Just have to share, this is a beautiful Adrianna Papell MOB that had to be taken in on the sides…. THEN some more at the zip. How about that beading?! Thankfully the dress was easily made to alter, but those 3D beaded flowers! Not my fav to re-bead!
