The International Holiday Thanksgiving bags were a success! We gave out 43 bags, with the history of Thanksgiving and The Mexican Corn Casserole. Along with two recipes. Thank you to Sandra Johnson Cooper and Jana Bernhardt for your donations to this holiday bag. Also, Mr. Matthews's class too for their donations. We could not have done this without you. Thank you to Professor Bernhardt and William for their time today so I could teach a class! You all rock, and I am very grateful to you all.

Way cool a Teacher Education Alumni student assisting a Currently enrolled Psychology major at the CF Food Pantry. To date we have given out about 218 bags not just on Wednesdays but throughout the term. Thank you faculty for all of your help with donations. We appreciate you!

Another amazing outdoor clothing closet hosted by the SLS1122 courses for their community engagement project! Way to go students. I love it when we have students helping students! Thank you faculty, staff and administration as we could not have done it without your donations and our community partner donations.

A shout out to CF Alumni Christine Jasker who donated 1930s hats and dresses from the 1800s to our theater department. You rock girlfriend, thank you for letting your CF PRIDE spirit show!

The pantry is open tomorrow, Wednesday, the 27th. We have spices now and are giving out simple recipes to help you come up with quick dinner ideas that do not break the bank. Come check us out. We are also collecting donations for our holiday themed bags for Thanksgiving. If you are interested in helping out email Dr. Knierim at [email protected].

Clothing Closet was a success! Today 10-18-21. Do not forget Wednesday, 10-20-21, the food pantry will be open for student!

The 2nd outdoor clothing closet was a success! Students love this resource and many were able to walk away with dresses, suits, pants, shoes and toiletries. So many items. I want to give a big shout out to all of the faculty , staff and student donations so that other students can benefit. Thank you to everyone, you rock! Students are already asking when will the next one happen. 😂I am so happy we can offer this resource to the students. Thank you Wendy Adams for helping me put it all up!

We are getting ready for Monday October 18th, our outdoor clothing closet. It will be from 12:30 to 3:30 pm between the Bryant Student Union Building and Building 7. Please come out and see the clothes we have, the hygiene bags and much more items available for students. FREE! There is no charge! Come and choose items that you need.

It’s official our Service, Civic and Community Engagement Office is supporting this years Marion County Red Ribbon event. You will see the signs all over the campus. I hope you will join us on October 22, at 5:00 pm at the Drive-in for the Red Ribbon event this year. Come and have fun while supporting a drug free Marion County!

Our pantry is restocked and ready for tomorrow's opening so come on down! This week, a bag is filled with food to make spaghetti, three-bean casserole with rice, potato with ham, chicken and rice, cereal, box milk, and muffin mix, or pop tarts. We will try and have recipes in the bags for students to learn how to make meals. If anyone has some quick and easy ideas for students, please message me. I would love to hear them.

Also, keep an eye out for our outdoor drive-away food day this month. Details will be posted soon!

Mega Monday Cooking on a Dime was a success! Students learned about the CF food pantry, food insecurities, the month of September being the food drive for Hunger, and some delicious easy to make recipes.

So the CF food pantry officially opened for the Fall 2021 term. Come down and see us and pick a FREE bag of food goodies!

The Patriot Pantry will be open this term (fall 2021) on Wednesdays from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm. Faculty let your students know they can come by and pick up a bag if they need food to hold them over until their next payday. This CF resource is FREE to enrolled CF students!

The CF clothing closet on Wednesday, September 8th was a huge success! Thanks to all of the CF staff that helped in making this event happen. A big thank you and shout out to Professor Lundock, Danielle Bryan, Professor Kirk, PTK, Professor Bernhardt, Professor Wilson and Professor Marino. I could not have done it without you guys. The students loved the event and were so happy that we have a resource like this for them to use. Thank you again!
