We have delicious nectarines and peaches available this weekend, and will continue to have more diversity in stone fruit through June and July, adding early apples in the next few weeks, and Asian pears by late July.
Our farm market will be stocked with the regular goodies like country ham, Linney's mill products, fresh apple cider, canned goods, delicious NC honey, and more.
Stop in to say hi and pick up some extra-sweet, locally grown fruit!
βHave you ever had quail eggs? π³
Our farmers at Appalachian Fresh Farm, who produce the delicious, healthy chicken eggs youβve seen at our markets, now offer quail eggs too!
β
Quail eggs are said to have three to four times the nutritional value of chicken eggs, and contain more fat and protein by weight. They are also a good source of iron, riboflavin, vitamin B12, zinc, and amino acids.
β
Quail eggs are hypoallergic and may help reduce allergic symptoms. Substances in quail eggs are used in the production of some antiallergic drugs. βΌοΈ

We often get asked how to part-out a whole chicken, raw or cooked!
We are offering a class to demonstrate and talk through the basics. Everyone will part their own chicken and go home with an understanding of how to maximize getting the meat off the carcass (which then makes the BEST bone broth!).
Class size is limited. RSVP so we can set aside your bird and save your seat in the class!
