Just finished a 2hr workout with .. tabatta work out to start, then some boxing Teknique ( pun intended ) and mitt work. Had a good time. I feel energized. Looking forward to the workouts this week. When I was thinking of some motivation, I pulled out my shirt and put that work in. The grind never stops, 1% improvement daily.

Setting up placement using my cushions, couldn't help but testing them out myself. ( The zoom on IG is too strong won't let you show it as the full picture so you can see it in sections lol ).

One of my clients really enjoys using the cuppers, for a good read utilize them again on this recent session. Definitely helpful with easing some upper and lower back tension.

Book of randomly in the middle of the night to practice some forms. Remember that I had a bunch of uniforms here could remember if any of them still fit so I didn't impromptu karate fashion show lol put this one on (black), reminded me that this is one of my favorites.. further inspiration that it almost fits like it used to so they have to keep up my training so I can get back to putting these uniforms on more comfortably. The last two were also reminders of what I have planned for next year. One last go.

Dear , how do you keep doing me like this? Whether I buy it from your website, or Amazon, whenever I try to order the updated Pro wide tape, Y'all send me the old model (swipe to see). I know they do the same thing, but I wanted the more modern one for a reason. Can y'all please stop sending me your old batch of wide tape and send me the newer design versions next time I order? This is like the fourth time this has happened to me. Sigh..

Yesterday, I got a chance to work with my friend Sky and treat some players who flew in for a game. It was a good opportunity to use my cushions. I've been able to use them for the last month and my clients have really appreciated the support and comfort they provide when used on the shoulders(prone), lower back(prone), and neck(supine).
I happened to find pylo by accident scrolling through IG, and I can say I'm glad I took a a chance. I always look for things that make my clients life more comfortable, and mine as well( I hate looking for pillows or cushions at peoples homes or at my clinic). I think I'm gonna get another set soon too.

So, just after getting out of teaching a sports massage class, I see
Post results from competition. I have only recently started working with her, but I'm so proud and excited to see and hear about her kicking butt during competition! She is probably one of the easiest athlete clients I have had to work, she listens, communicates her issues well, and works at actively improving her body to prevent pain from returning.

update: just as I was walking out of my house to head for a client, this arrived. While I never did hear back from them, at least they showed up even if unexpectedly. It was about a few hours away from me requesting my refund. While I am happy to finally gotten the product I ordered, I should not have had to go through that kind of hassle especially with the lack of communication. I won't be able to fully test it out for another 10 days as I head out of town. I'll keep you updated. That being said, I did order a bag I've been looking at for quite a long time: the T2. And I'm very excited about having a happy bag that's freestanding and sturdy to work with.

Dear we should talk. I am starting to lose some faith in your customer service. I admit, some of the fault may be my own. When I first came across your product in December, I was pretty excited to get something that replicated the ideal of something like At a fraction of the cost. Since my sparbar broke years ago they couldn't provide sufficient service on it I decided to try a new company. In my excitement I did not see that deliveries would start in January, late January at that for something that I purchased in mid-December. So when I first reached out I was a bit confused as to why something was taking so long. There's also nothing on your website that stated that orders would take over 25 days to be fulfilled once you started shipping. The information you provided would lead me to believe that in early January, my package would be shipped out. Except, that was not the case. Shipping label was provided in Naples Florida, and nothing had changed on that shipping label for at least two weeks. Naples Florida is 3 hours from where I was living. When the package finally arrived, I was shocked at how light it was. Only to realize it was for a reason. Only the base has been sent to me. There has been no mention of a secondary shipping label, a time for when I will receive the stand and the target, and I'm left here with basically nothing, and me holding an empty bag in my hand after purchasing a product over two months ago. The product looks like it comes in 3 to 4 parts at max, I find it very hard to believe that this individual one of a kind pieces of this hard to assemble and ship even with tons of orders. There was no mention of a 3-month order anywhere that I saw on your website or on Instagram. So I'm not sure why that rationale apply to me and my order. But I wanted to share this because he usually takes something extreme to get a response. When I commented on your page, I finally got it update on my tracking for this first package. I tried to comment again on your page since this has been delivered, I have received no message not even a follow-up email which I have sent. So, if I do not hear back, refund me.

I am such a nerd lol but I am unashamedly in love with Martial arts and Massage therapy. I found these cool shirts from which reminded me of the shirt, or is it Eminem shirt? ("It goes Reggie, Jay z, Tupac, and biggie..")

Anyway, I made two shirts. One of the top five favorite forms from Goju Ryu, and top five favorite modalities I use during my massage sessions. They're not in order but they're just there. They came out awesome. I'm sure they'll be a conversation starter in certain spaces lol I'm a happy dork 😂

This last for 5 days have been something else! So many different venues for massage, from arenas to paddle board tournaments on the beach, to in-home massage too hotels for pro soccer teams preseason camps. It was very exciting to meet new people and work with them as much as it was to finally connect with colleagues that I've known for several years and get to work with them in person! And I very much feel blessed in my career and grateful for the opportunities that I'm given. Can't wait to work on more people this week! And then, in a little over two weeks, I'm back in the west coast back in Seattle, teaching sports massage and seeing all my old clients again! I love my job!

Fun times as usual yesterday. Couldn't take very sexy pictures but I had a good time. On to today's adventure. Got to see some familiar faces, got to work on some new ones grateful for the opportunity each time.

They both have exercises that cross over to other planes but I appreciate the different approaches. Relatively easy to set up and take up minimal spaces additional equipment can increase the benefits as well.

Stopped over by the other day( because my concept of time is so out of wack, I don't remember which day) to work with the very talented who was dealing with some lingering lower back pain. After some active assessments, I treated her with a quick combination of IASTM, dynamic Cupping, and Rapid NFR work. So far the pain has resolved itself and I will follow up in. Few days before competition just to see if any further treatment is necessary. It was great working with you Zaira! Keep up the hard work!

As in any field or practice, having someone that truly listens to your needs, and can work with you on achieving your goals it's paramount to a great experience. My goal has always been simple, which is to take care of people. I find it very important to be able to provide high level evidence informed, assessment based massage treatments, and to bring it to those people that are in need and looking for those services. The journey to independent health and wellness often starts with a helping hand, someone to help show you the way forward. I love to empower my clients that they can take control of their lives. As I was looking down at the certificate, my very first thought was "it's about damn time." I started the journey of orthopedic massage with Whitney Lowe in 2009. When I saw his program for orthopedic massage I became instantly excited about leveling up my assessment and treatment skills. At the time he had three levels. Neck back and pelvis, upper extremity, and lower extremity. I powered my way through the first two levels, doing case studies and studying all the information he had to offer pouring over his text like it was gospel. And then life hit several times and the third course kind of fell away to the side as other things came up and other classes came through. I never forgot about it. Though my attention span and time may have waned. As Fate would have, it two years ago I saw a new advertisement for his class that included a clinical rehabilitative specialty program, and it not only reinvigorated my desire for growth, it gave me something to stand out with even further as far as education and clinical reasoning. After all this time, with his help, I finally completed his program. And I feel so grateful for all the things I've learned in that time. This past August was the start of year 16 in my career is a massage therapist. It has been a hell of a ride and I look forward to the new adventures ahead and all the things I can learn on my path to becoming a great massage therapist.

Always learning. Well I always prefer hands-on education, sometimes you have to make do when you're not able to travel. Whitney Lowe courses have been some of the most educationally sound and mentally taxing courses I've ever been a part of. Definitely challenged my ability to think critically when dealing with problems that arise from patients and their injuries. There are a lot of times I felt pretty dumb while learning to stuff were overwhelmed, but I stuck with it and can see the light at the end of the tunnel now as I'm finishing up his program.
I have been a specialist for quite some time now with Rob and Sherry through their Rapid NFR technique. I use it daily and I'll never stop using it when I think it's the most necessary. They are some of my favorite instructors because how honest and real they are and how hands-on they are with the students eager to learn.
There are a lot of massage therapists that are settled in their ways, and while they claim they want to be more, but are not willing to step outside their comfort zone or have an excuse ready. It's taken me over 3-6 years to finish the orthopedic massage stuff and I probably been sitting on that rapid course ( and at least one more) for over a year as well while I had other life things going on. But I got it done. And so can you if you stop looking for ways to avoid it instead of ways to make it happen.

Even though it happened a while ago, very excited that my shirt and physical certificate came in the mail today! I really enjoyed learning from Paul Kelly at and look forward to getting certified in the additional levels and grow as a practitioner. I use a lot of the things I learned daily and I really looking forward to what the future holds as I learn more from this awesome program.
