Fun fact Friday! Have you ever walked in front of the ALN building on USF’s Tampa campus and seen this tree? It was planted 10 years ago in honor of USF being named a Tree Campus USA School and is one of more than 19,000 trees on the campus! 🌳🤘🌴

This summer, twelve Honors students traveled to Andros Island, Bahamas for a study abroad course titled, "Exploring Tropical Island Environments by Land and Sea." While there, the students had the opportunity to identify local species, explore various habitats, learn the geology of the island, and understand how climate change impacts the ocean and how natural science interacts with local culture. They were also able to snorkel, explore caves and blue holes, and engage with the local community.
