Hello fellow facebooker! Thanks for visiting my page. I’m Rebecca Newkirk, but you can call me Becca.

I’ve been a therapist since 2012. It’s basically my dream job; I count myself lucky to be invited into people’s inner worlds. I take the responsibility seriously and there’s really nothing I love more than watching the work we do together come to fruition in people’s lives.

In my spare time, you can find me at the gym working towards my next personal record in power lifting and Olympic lifting, or reading teen fantasy novels (my guilty pleasure) and trying to find the Star Trek series that can hold a candle to DS9.

If you’re struggling with perfectionism, finding that you spend too much of your time getting lost in fantasy to avoid having to take the next step (what if it doesn’t work out?) or make a decision (how do you know if it’s the right decision?!) it might make sense for us to talk. I have lots of experience working through my own perfectionism, as well as helping clients take steps forward, even when it’s scary.

If you are the parent of a teen and just don’t know what to do for the kid anymore, I may be able to help there, too. I adore working with teens (weird, right?). I love how intensely they experience the world around them, and I appreciate how that can cause challenges in their lives and relationships.
