Dawn of Well-Being
Family coaching, mediation and hypnosis for the dawn of your wellbeing.
Proud to be a part of this effort. So much wisdom in the course material. Even more wisdom and expertise from our staff who are mental health professionals (and Baha'is). Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Baha'i Spiritual Assembilies-Challenged Marriages Local Spiritual Assemblies in the Bahá’í Faith serve the marriages in their communities. This course educates and empowers these institutions in their response to married individuals and couples in challenged marriages. Led by marriage professionals.
I’m so excited to be working with Mary Rose Foundation to support people as we ditch the harmful diet culture. In this nine week course we’ll not only learn together about the fallacies that are taught through the diet culture, we’ll also support each other while achieving an empowering goal, strengthen our self-care and compassion, while building a community.
Ditching Diet Culture: 10 Week Virtual Support Group This year, let's ditch the diet culture. Empowering YOU to celebrate the body you live in right now.

Starting Friday, April 22: Help us create our garden by celebrating what’s working.
The Festival of Ridvan (https://beyondforeignness.org/3544) in the Baha’i Faith is upon us. (Ridvan (pronounced Rezvan) means “Paradise” in Arabic.) A favorite way our family has celebrated this 12-day Festival has been to create a hanging garden - adding, day by day, a flower in honor of something you’re grateful for. By the last day, the garden becomes full of beauty and encouragement.
I’d like to invite you to help create our garden this year. Join us on Zoom any or all days (between 4/22-5/2 at 6:30, PDT) to share something you’re grateful, or proud, or just for the fun of it and it’ll be added to the garden. OR, simply share your gratitude and I'll add a flower on your behalf. (Message me for the Zoom link.)

Healing ourselves is the first step towards empowering our youth.
Let's be real, we've been inundated with diet culture messages our entire lives. From the time we were young, we were taught that our bodies cannot be trusted and we're not good enough as we are. We must change something in order to be ok.
The solution to helping our kids, is first healing ourselves. Making peace with our bodies. We don't have to love them in the feeling way, but respecting, honoring, and speaking gently with ourselves is necessary.
Register to join us online or in-person on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 4:00 pm at the Mary Rose NW Boutique (509 Main Street, Oregon City) for a "Ditching Diet Culture" support group. We can unlearn the messages we've been taught together. Link is in bio to register :)
A great program that Karen Tucker Lynch has been a part of for years. We're very excited about the keynote speaker, this Saturday (free of charge). Be on the look out for more opportunities for imagining our families' future throughout the school year.

As the principle of the equality of women and men gains traction in society, it is breaking down the traditional rigid structures and causing us to examine everything related to gender.
What does it actually mean that the soul has no gender? How does being masculine or feminine make a difference in how we support our families? In this 2-hour workshop, we’ll explore how consultation can help us navigate these questions.
Reserve your spot early, as these workshops tend to fill up quickly. We look forward to seeing you!

I've tried this exercise and encourage everyone to do the same. Spend some time to identify one significant task that you accomplished (even a simple task). As you breathe in, deeply, recognize the benefits of that accomplishment. Breathe out any "yeah, but..." and breathe in again, the knowing that you were successful. Keep doing this until the "yeah but..." subsides. Be with just that. Every accomplishment is worthy of acknowledgement.
