Young BSP Pearlscale starting to express. All the Seal Point pearls from our first spawn have started to express, and a little earlier than we expected. This one is just about quarter size and expressing already. We only raised a few from the initial spawn to monitor the expression. But everyone is now expressing.

It took us over 5 years to add Seal Point Veils to our breeding program. Since we only work with fish we have in our breeding program and cannot allow any outside fish into our hatchery we had to create this Veil line from Crossing Seal Points to our Pinoy Veil line. For some reason the bulgarian green genetics do not follow the normal rules and after having 1000's of fry from our crosses we finally were able to get 2 veils in a spawn. Now we have crossed one of those veils to our best Seal Point Standard fin and are producing BSP Veil Angelfish. Only a few available at the present time but in 3-4 weeks we will be fully stocked.

Decided I should pull this spawn from our pair of Golden Lilac Angelfish. But when I went to pull them about 2 days later they were all gone. Oh well, they will spawn again in 10 days. Today was water change day for that tank and they just started attacking the hose. Looked at a plant leaf and you can see what I saw in the video. :-)

Our pair of golden lilacs spawned a 4-5 days ago but didn't pull their spawn right away. 2 day slater I decided I should pull that spawn but it was GONE!! This morning it was time for a water change in that tank and OMG were they attacking the hose. Well they didn't eat their spawn but moved them to a leaf. Guess this pair will take care of the spawns now. LOL

Here's a couple of photos that show how to tell if you have doube dose of pb in your fry (Philippine blue). You can see the blue metalic "headlight" in between their eyes on the top of their head. :)

I don't think we have ever listed a pair of our Wild Crosses for sale. But we really do not need more pairs. We use these to cross back into all of our strains for strength. Almost all of our wild crosses contain a pb gene. And I'm just about positive these have a pb gene which will produce 25% Philippine Blues. Our Wild crosses could be from Manacapurus, Rio Nanay, and even Rio Negros. I believe these both are from our Manacapurus. If you like the Wild look and the Original Silver Angelfish that we all know, This would be the pair for you. Also most of our wild crosses will parent raise if given the opportunity. This is a young pair for our wild crosses as they usually do not start to breed until a little over a year old, These are just about 1 year old.

Finally going to start on a new line of Pinoy Paraibas. This is one of the Pinoys we'll use in the cross. Should have a very nice Paraiba Veil to use with this pinoy. Just hope we can keep the nice color of this pinoy in the cross. The pinoy clown is a double dark so 50% of the first spawns should be Pinoy Paraibas with a single dark gene. and 1/2 of those will be veils. WE HOPE! :)

We just have no room for our backup pair Blue Marble x Blue Smokey Angelfish. We always try to cross a blue smokey to a blue marble as it gives the blue marble offspring much more blue. We really wnated to keep this pair in our breeding program but we have no choice but to let them go. They are only 7 months old (if that) and have given us 2 very good spawns.

Lilac Point Blushing. Golden color coming from a Gm gene. This is a female from our 1st pair that we are raising fry right now. When we cross this female to one of our Golden Seal Point Blushers we should get our Midnight Red Seal Point line back. We have a few options with the cross and will use each one to get the best color

Another very nice Blue Smokey pair. Male carries the zebra gene so he's a Blue Smokey Leopard.... Both carry a single dose of pearlscale. Lots of blue on this pair.

New pair just listed on our website. Female is a Wild Cross Zebra and male is a Blue Zebra. The Wildcross has a single dose of pb so they will produce Beautiful Blue Zebras. The female is just over 13 months old and the male Blue Zebra just 7 months old. We always use our Wild Cross Angelfish to strengthen our lines after several generations.
