Relief for Kids in Haiti
One child at at time.....We are currently seeking individuals who wish to sponsor an orphan. It costs $100 per child per month. One child at a time.
Our Story: Charles & Terri McEndree travelled to Haiti in April of 2010, 4 months after Port au Prince suffered a devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake on January 12, 2010. They were very touched by the suffering and devastation that was left in the wake of the quake. Terri is an OB/GYN physician and Charles is a registered nurse and hospital purchasing director. They decided that they would like
I miss the kids. Pray for peace in Haiti so that we can go back and see them again.
Please pray for Haiti.
The police have stopped working and are protesting in the steets because gags have killed 10+ police officers in recent weeks.
Haiti is in shambles politically right now and needs help.
We do not know what they future holds and we are trying to keep our children and friends safe.
Happy Birthday to our wonderful Franceline. You are so blessed and beautiful. Belle Franceline.
Happy Birthday to our precious Miselane. You are beautiful and loved. Keep growing strong.
Today is Eli's birthday. Bon Fet, Eli!!
Please send up a prayer for the children in our orphanage tonight. It appears that there has been an outbreak of food-poison or something. Most of the children and staff are suffering with diarrhea and are sick in bed. MacKendy is the worst is currently in the hospital with IVs and dehydration. (Pictures were taken just a few days ago. )
Sharing some pictures of the children. Daily life and school for the kids. Praise God that they are healthy. Your help and donations go a long way. https://www.aplos.com/aws/give/inforeliefforkidsinhaitiorg/general
CRAFT TIME!!! Thank you to Esther for teaching the children how to make Hair Ties. Great Job, Kids.
Happy birthday to Cedric!!! Yea!!!
This week, Ester and Rubens organized an event to promote the importance of fruit and vegetable in our body. We invited 14 kids in the community to participate and all of the children in the orphanage. They learned about agriculture and were introduced to planting seeds and the importance of growing trees for fruit as well as a garden for vegetables. We are very thankful for Ester and Rubens and their efforts.
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow. Two of our children, Crezou and Mivelore decided to give their lives to Jesus. This happened on Easter Friday, but I just got the pictures. Crezou made his decision first, and Mivelore felt the same. There is rejoicing in Heaven.

The children in Haiti now have a sewing machine at the orphanage and the children are learning to sew and make their own clothes. They can also use this life skill to sew clothes for other people.
The problem is that material and sewing supplies are very expensive. If you have any material or sewing supplies (needles, thread, scissors, patterns, etc) and would like to donate them to Haiti to benefit the children, please let us know. Contact Charles McEndree on private instant messenger and we can give you instructions on how to send them.
Donations are always accepted on our website at www.reliefforkidsinhaiti.org. Shipping costs from Ft. Pierce, FL are $1.50 per pound.
Thanks to you, we sent out first set of tents down to the earthquake victims in Aquin, Haiti. They were exceedingly grateful. The team helped set the tents up for people who have never owned a tent.
We are still collecting funds in your website at www.reliefforkidsinhaiti.org. Click on them donate button. Tests are $100 a piece, but all amounts help.
Thank you for all your help!!!!

Tents are needed for Haiti. Can you help? – Please Read. Please Help. Please Share.
Relief for Kids in Haiti is watching the devastation in southern Haiti caused by a 7.2 earthquake in L’Asile, Haiti. Many non-profit and NGO organizations are reaching out to help where they can and provide assistance. Our organization has reached out to some contacts in the city of Aquin, Haiti. Aquin is 90 miles south west of Port-au-Prince, 34 miles east of Les Cayes, and less than 10 miles from the earthquake epicenter. Several of our employees grew up in Aquin and have family and friends there.
The earthquake has devastated the city of Aquin and people are now living on the street without shelter. They have lost their homes, their businesses, and loved ones with this disaster. We are being asked to provide tents in any shape or size to provide shelter for the local population. Without shelter, these people are susceptible to the elements, wind and rain. After the 2010 earthquake, effected individuals lived in tents for years because rebuilding is costly and cannot happen fast enough.

**If you have a tent that you can donate, please contact us at [email protected], and let us know how big the tent is, where it is currently located, and how much it weighs. We will send you directions on how to get it to our cargo plane located in Ft. Pierce, FL.
**If you do not have a tent that can be donated, and would like to send funds to purchase tents, you can donate on our website at www.reliefforkidsinhaiti.org. Click on the Donate button. A typical 4-man tent can cost an average of $100 and shipping costs to Haiti is going to be $2.50 per pound. This is not much, but it is at least 2 months’ worth of salary for the typical Haitian.
You will receive a receipt for your donation and all the donations are tax deductible.
Get the word out. And thank you for helping in this time of need.
Thanks. Charles.

A quick update on Haiti. The children in our orphanage are fine, and there does not seem to be any structural damage to the house.
There are however, many aftershocks and the children do not want to sleep in their rooms, so they have gathered up their mattresses and are sleeping on the floor of the kitchen near the door for a hasty exit. Everyone is quite on edge again.
There are several individuals who work with us that have family in the Aquin area. Aquin was very near the epicenter of the earthquake and has been "completely destroyed". The family members that have been contacted have lost their houses and businesses and we have heard of one death of a good friend.
We are getting requests for assistance, and are determining what our organization can and cannot do at this time. Very basic needs are in short supply and we are reaching out to our contacts to understand how we can help.
If you would like to donate funds to help with our efforts, you can visit us at www.reliefforkidsinhaiti.org and click on the donate button.

There has been a 7.2 magnitude earthquake near Saint-Louis du Sud, Haiti, west of where our orphanage is located.
We reached out to the orphanage and they are fine. We are waiting for more news, and we are praying for the people of La Cayes.
There have been many of you asking for an update to what is happening in Haiti and specifically to the children at the moment. The orphanage is located in the mountains south of Port-au-prince, and historically, the crime in the PAP area has not been up in the mountain area, and so citizens that can afford to move to the mountain area do so, and the area is full of people who try their best to ensure their home and area is safe. The assassination of the president happened in his compound in an area called Pelerlin. This is along the road between PAP and where the orphanage is, but is still quite a ways away from us.
There is a lot of uncertainty in Haiti, including the PAP area, and there are people who are desperate to survive, and individuals who are out for themselves. Crime is increasing in the area, and people are trying to stay calm while the government tries to figure out who is in charge.
As a result of the assassination, everything closed including schools, markets and banks. They tried opening the bank again on Friday morning, but it quickly closed again because of panic and unrest. However, in that small window of the bank being open, our contacts were able to pick up the money that we sent this week. God was watching over, keeping them safe, and providing the opportunity. The kids are safe and have food, but we are asking for your continued prayers and watching closely for Gods leading.
Our Story
Our Story: Charles & Terri McEndree traveled to Haiti in April of 2010, 4 months after Port au Prince suffered a devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake on January 12, 2010. They were very touched by the suffering and devastation that was left in the wake of the quake. Terri is an OB/GYN physician and Charles is a registered nurse and hospital purchasing director. They decided that they would like to find some way to help others, since the need was so great. While they were there, amidst the devastation, they found individuals wanting to help in small ways to find relief for those suffering around them. They also admired the fortitude and the resilience of the Haitian people, who were so grateful for even the tiniest amounts of assistance.
Their translator was Marc Arthur Francois. Marc, his brother Johnny, and many of their friends were doing what they could to help relief organizations bring hope to individuals one at a time. Eventually Marc and his friends developed an organization called “Deliverance Pour Tous”(DT) which means Relief for All. DT traveled around the Port au Prince area teaching Churches and individuals how to conduct first aid, perform CPR, and care for the sick.
When Charles and Terri returned to Haiti in March 2012, Marc and DT expressed the idea of getting involved in an orphanage to help some of the nearly 1 million orphans in Haiti. Relief for Kids was able to obtain a home in August 2012 and started Secours por les Enfants d’Haiti. We are now located in Kenscoff, Haiti.
