The 102nd USCT was honored to be apart of such a historic event this past Sunday. We would like to thank Rep. Coleman A Young Jr and the Lt. Governor Garland Gilchrist for recognizing the brave men and women who joined the 102nd to fight for freedom over 150 years ago.

Tomorrow Coleman A Young Jr. will be honoring the 102nd United States Colored Troops by dedicating the I-375 Highway as the 102nd USCT Memorial Highway! The ceremony begins at 1pm at the Bunche Elementary-Middle School (which is a historic landmark where the plaque for Camp Ward is located).
