Fun Fest 2024 was a blast! Even with the yucky weather!! We hope you all had a wonderful time with your friends and family. Here’s a little photo dump from the evening. THANK YOU to the Fun Fest committee, RES office staff, teachers, parents and high school volunteers. 💙💛

Hello RES friends and family! The FunFest is fast approaching, and we are so excited for you to come play games with us, win prizes, experience some new rides, and eat some food! I know there are probably lots of questions given the expected weather. The FunFest Committee has been working hard to make sure this is a fun event for children of ALL ages.

The following is some general information:
* Event is Rain or Shine 3:30-7:30pm
* CASH only (no venmo or pay apps)
* Wristbands are for unlimited RIDES only. Rides for all ages. (Will not work for games, temporary tattoo, or photobooth)
* Tickets are required for all rides (without a wristband) and games. * Tickets are 50 cents each and there are games to play for 1 ticket.
* Rides begin at approximately 7 tickets and go up to approximately 15 tickets.
* Temporary Tattoo artist and photobooth require game tickets
* Basket Raffles require purchase of special RAFFLE TICKETS. Cost is $1/ticket, 6 for $5, 12 for $10 and 25 for $20.
* Concession Food is CASH only. No tickets accepted.

Less than a week until Fun Fest! There are still a lot of volunteer spots left. Help offset the cost of concessions, volunteer to set up or clean up, help monitor the games or rides. There are many ways you can help!

Wow! Check out this list of raffles!! Plan ahead and save some time! Here is a list of the raffles that will be available at Fun Fest. This list will also be sent home with your kids this week.

Pro Tip: Print your NAME and PHONE NUMBER on a sheet of address labels! 2" tall X 1.5" wide is the perfect size to fit on the ticket stub. 👏

Our friends at Anchor Club @ HHS asked us to spread the word:

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 20th! Hempfield High School Anchor Club is holding our third annual craft fair in the Buchanan Gym from 11-4. There will be over 50 vendors, many of which are Hempfield students and staff, as well as community members. In addition, Spud Muffin and Flying J's food trucks will be here serving up some great food. There are over 20 baskets to raffle off including theater tickets, Primitives by Kathy baskets, gift cards to many local restaurants, Stormers tickets, Apple air pods and more! All the proceeds from the basket raffles and the vendor table fees will be donated to the Hempfield Clothing Bank. Come out for some shopping, lunch, and to support a wonderful cause!!

PTO Fun Fest Advertisement Opportunity!!
The RES PTO is offering local businesses the opportunity to purchase an advertisement sign to support the 2024 Fun Fest. The Fun Fest is an event that provides children, families and the community with an evening filled with games, carnival rides, food, and fun! The advertisement sign will be displayed at the Fun Fest. If you know a business that would be interested in advertising, please click the link below for the flier with more information. There are some student incentives that include a ride wristband and the chance to win an Oculus!

Thank you to ALL of our students and VIP's who came out in support of the PTO at the dance on Friday. Shout-out to the high school students who helped with the Mini THON. We had a blast!!!
