A new venture for the new year entails a few short months from an entry level computer guy to a full blown iOS developer! I am thoroughly exited to be shown the ropes by none other than Ray Wenderlich himself starting February 13!

Just a few short weeks away from our latest work of art, mStewardship’s rewrite is in its final stages converting from objective C to Swift, adding in a few goodies in the form of features as well.
Like it’s sister app, mStewardship is a completely revolutionary tool to manage all congregations across the globe no matter what the religious focus may be.
I would tell you about all of the exciting things about our creation but I am going to let the anticipation build which will allow the product to do the talking for itself.
Stay tuned!

iOS App Solutions - 29/11/2022

Good evening everyone,

It has been some time since the talks of happenings at B&L have occurred, but that is all changing right now.

The first of which is we are now a dynamic duo in the pursuit of creating the best in mobile development software. I am Mike Malak, a newly appointed co-owner of B&L. My father, Jim Malak started the business several years ago and while we have both endured many hardships and setbacks, it is time for a new chapter and take this road all the way to the top.

A short bit of background on myself: I am a father of three beautiful daughters, a police officer with 8 years on the job and an aspiring entrepreneur. I am new to the mobile development world but you can rest assured the brains of the software side are with my father who has been in this environment for over four decades. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said in Terminator, "Old but not obsolete". My role is to push the digital marketing aspect of the business as well as a growing list of other responsibilities as time moves on.

At B&L our focus is you. We are committed to bringing not only cutting edge applications but putting our customers needs at the top of our priority list...whatever those might be.

After many long hours of development we are proud to announce mDomestics full debut in the App Store. This is a congregation management system unlike any other. We are proud to have built a true native application that redefines the standard of quality in the mobile development environment. I would keep talking about this but it is something you need to see to believe. Check us out on our newly refreshed website, Beryle-lee.com to learn more! As always never hesitate to send us an email anytime and we will be happy to assist you.

iOS App Solutions - Beryle & Lee aspires to provide targeted iOS products that deliver true value in their market space. We treat each product endeavor as an opportunity to prove our integrity and credibility.

My post writing habits look like my dieting efforts. Well meaning, but unfruitful ...

What is going on at B&L? Well plenty. We have developed a new framework that I am very excited about. This app framework is currently in use for a new product product family.

I want to explain what is happening with mStewardship. I wrote mStewardship as my first iOS application during the period Sonchu (my wife and soulmate) was ending our battle with stomach cancer and fell asleep in 2011. The development effort was 18 months. I used a traditional approach to monetize the product through standard purchase of $99 a license.

After 18 months of working off what was left of our life's savings I had managed to sell ten copies ;-). I did however manage to launch a consulting practice using mStewardship as a portfolio. The down side was there was no time/money left to improve the product or re-market it as a subscription service. Also a problem was the app needed rework and had lost its value as a portfolio.

I have now rededicated my efforts into reviving the product. In a second post, I am going to show you a glimpse of what that new framework looks like and the underlying technology we are using.

In order for this to work B&L needs to get a revenue-generating product out as quickly as possible. mStewardship 2.0 would still have an issue with actual marketing because there is no significant existing base to champion the product. it need a helping hand

This is where mDomestics comes in. B&L has been approached by a community that likes mStewardship but has very unique needs that can only be filled by a new product based on the mStewardship concept.

Once mDomestics is launched we will be using the same framework to produce a fantastic mStewardship 2.0 We can then do the marketing to put mStewardship into orbit.

Please see my next post on mDomestics.
