International Badge Day 2023 Monday, March 6th…

National Ritual Celebration Week is the perfect time to remind ourselves of the significance of Zeta Tau Alpha’s rituals and how they strengthen our bonds of sisterhood.

Here's a throwback right before our special ritual celebrations at 2022: the Rededication Service, conducted by the Leadership Consultants, and the Memorial Service, honoring members who passed away during the biennium.

International Badge Day is in just a few days! On Monday, March 6, join the celebration by wearing your ZTA badge proudly!

Established in 1997 by the National Panhellenic Conference, International Badge Day is recognized during National Women’s History Month and celebrated the week of International Women’s Day.

FRED Fact Friday: Did you know ZTA adopted the Official Flag at the 1950 Convention?

National Council decided to hold a contest before Convention and invited all chapters to send in designs. The Convention body voted on numerous submissions and the winning flag came from Gamma Epsilon Chapter (Penn State University).

Today, the updated flag is on white with a turquoise border and steel gray accents, with aspects very similar to the original design.

Happy Birthday to one of ZTA's Founders, Mary "Cammie" Campbell Jones Batte! Cammie was born on Dec. 30, 1878.

Cammie received a basket of strawberries from an admirer back in 1898. There were too many for her to eat by herself, so Cammie and the other Founders decided to host their first purely social gathering... and the rest is history! 👑

Today we are celebrating Founder Ethel Coleman Van Name's birthday! Ethel would have been 143 years old today.

After graduation, Ethel was a teacher for a few years. Eventually, her sister Alice (also a Founder) became sick, so Ethel quit teaching to care for Alice. Ethel had a passion for taking care of people, and even volunteered for American Red Cross during WWI and WWII.
