When the stakes are high, the fear is strong… be it our career, a decision, a risk or love; fear takes over and we freeze… but sometimes magic happens because we realize that the remorse we will feel.. and the regret that will grow… because we didn’t try… and put ourselves out there… is not appealing… at all. So here’s wishing you courage… for trying, for saying.. for putting yourself out there.. Here’s to possibilities… and magic..
A clean home…A relaxing walk.. time with loved ones.. Happy kids.. connection with God.. A hot yoga class.. A decent amount of money in the emergency fund.. fresh air .. a job you enjoy.. a good book.. laughs with friends.. What does wellness mean to you? In the heart of south Dallas - THANK YOU for sponsoring this community event! Looking forward to some important conversations
Being a mother is one of the hardest jobs a woman can have. Feeling responsible for a human being, their well-being, and nurturing them takes a lot of effort. I hope you are able to spend today doing self-care and giving yourself a break.❤️

Moderating this group for victims of gun violence, and domestic violence in South Dallas is always an experience that leaves me in awe of the victims, and their strength, despite the pain that they are experiencing.
Thank you, Victor and the UNT Dallas Law Students for actively working on bringing support to this community .
Please remember not to judge when you know a loved one is going through and experiencing this tragedy

What an honor to be in the presence of , the grandmother of Juneteenth ! At the MCA Gala. She is a force to reckon with! 💕 she said that we are born to love, and we learn to hate. Hoping, and praying that we can continue to learn to love everyone, regardless of any differences.
to all the women who continue to inspire me, support me and be a source of joy for me .. being a woman is hard with all the rules that we have to juggle and all the expectations that we try to meet.. wishing you joy today and hope that you are able to disconnect from all the negativity and things and people that pull you down … wishing you are surrounded with love and those who understand you and appreciate you happy women’s day to all!!

Yes! We made it! While it was a great year for many, it wasn’t for some. What is important though is that we are here, and we try to make the most of it.
It was a happening year for me… a lot happened… but I came back with the same five things .. that keep showing up … year after year … decade after decade … in terms of what is important, truly :
1. Feelings .. some feelings are not permanent; especially the negative ones.. once you have given them thought … you realize that they may have been heightened because you felt a lot … or they are not worth investing negative energy in.. so working on letting go may be a better choice
2. People.. whether they are family or friends or coworkers l, people have the power to make you feel really good …, and some have toxicity that doesn’t make you feel quite good.. spend more time and more energy on relationships that make you feel good and work on managing boundaries around people who pull you down. Sometimes they are loved ones and people close to us.
3. Goals.. being ambitious is a good thing, whether it is to work on career goals, making money or getting to the next health milestone in life ; do remember that some things take time and effort and being intentional. Be patient.. and while you’re pursuing these goals.. especially career goals … remember to keep investing in relationships that you are going to enjoy ..for much longer than the money you will make ..or the career or the title you would work for.. being successful, and alone is not fun… living a full life can happen with very little..
4. Love.. wholeheartedly… so many of us are guarded about it.., we want to love … but feel calculated and feel that by loving we are giving up some thing that will come back and make us feel bad. It’s quite the opposite … when you love you are vulnerable and you are unlocking the energy that will make you feel so much joy .. so whether it’s your life partner or friend or that special someone, it’s in giving love that life feels very beautiful… loving on people in life brings real joy.. don’t hold back, it feels great… and When you feel spent, and you feel there is limited reciprocity … there’s always someone else you can find to love… who will appreciate it more and have enough to give..
move on..
5 Gratitude.. is key.. while there may be some things missing in life there is so much to be grateful for … lots of moments .. special people, friendships, family .. health .. shelter and the list goes on … when we get busy noticing what we have … the list of what we don’t have does not matter as much!!
Wishing you abundance in everything you desire!!
(My nephew brought these flowers for me.. because they reminded him of the flowers he used to pick for me from his backyard when he was 3.. he’s 30 now.. i keep smiling thinking about it as it made my day.. thank you!)
Lots of love

‘If you always do what you always did, you’ll always get what you always got’ - I grew up hearing this a lot. It’s hard to move on from something that we find so desirable at times that we start minimizing how it may not be good for us; a job that leaves us no time for joy; a relationship where our needs are not being met; it requires a lot of courage to say ‘I tried’ but it didn’t happen. It’s always good to look within and be strong and move on- from things that keep us stuck in a situation & people that don’t value us..Wishing you can surround yourself with elements of life and people that bring you joy - wishing you have courage to Change Direction 💕
Simple little things… make a beautiful relationship 💕
Abuse and violence in relationships must be unacceptable. It is hard to recognize the signs when feelings are intense and the idea of ‘love’ is misunderstood. Join the conversation I am having with
Let’s work on it 💕
Breathe… focus on you❣️
A lot of times we struggle with understanding what is good for us… whether it is a relationship or our success..
there is no black and white answer to that..what is really important is to reflect
on what our contribution to it is ..
Are we expecting a miraculous success but not being consistent in effort or brave
enough to admit what we are not doing well?… are we accepting others when they are not putting effort in our relationships?... or strong enough to walk away?… if we are ..then what is the reason we are allowing this? Self awareness is key..
This! ❤️ thank you marina baig ❣️
Life is too short! Living and loving wholeheartedly is the way to go .. in protecting ourselves we can sometimes limit others to love us.. or allow ourselves to be loved ..
