We would like to say a big Thank You to all of our customers that have been with us for so many years.
Some have been with us for almost 8 years now. We are truly grateful for all of your support!
With all the out of state companies that have moved into the Valley because of the big boom going on, you have stayed with us, supported James' extreme knowledge of sprinklers, and have been kind and respectful to our company.
Thank you Thank you for being a part of our Sprinkler Family!
It's Memorial Day weekend and like every year it's going to rain. For those of you trying to be waterwise. The handy reference below will assist you with your watering needs for the week.
Did you know that our daughter works for our sprinkler company?
She has been working with her dad for a few years and learning all that he knows about sprinklers.
She is quite intelligent when it comes to sprinklers and we couldn't be prouder of her.
One day when we were at a customer's house a little girl came up to her and couldn't believe that a girl was working for a sprinkler company, and she thought it was so amazing. That made us even more proud of our daughter and all that she has accomplished.
So, remember when you are supporting our small family business that you are also supporting women working in the sprinkler field.
That's pretty amazing to us! 💗
We just finished another sprinkler install!
Since water is becoming more of an issue in Utah we strive to use water efficient nozzles. We use certain nozzles that save water and are great for low pressure systems.
A little free knowledge about backflow preventers. Hopefully the competitor that this pertains to does a better job in the future
A PVB backflow, in the first picture. Must be 12 inches above the highest head in your yard. If this is not possible then an RPZ backflow needs to be used to be legal under the Utah code.
If a PVB is illegally installed it has the potential to allow the water in sprinklers to end up in your drinking water.
A worst case scenario would involve fertilizer, pesticides and pet waste in your drinking water.
We were hired to repair a broken PVB, unfortunately it was on a slope, so it was not legal. We explained this to the client and he asked us to install the proper backflow.
The client's assistant hired a different company to make the same repair.
Due to the miscommunication the other company showed up first and installed an illegal backflow, not a wise decision...They also left a piece of the backflow laying in the grass for the lawnmower to find.
We strive to ensure that our clients understand the codes and why they are in place.
The majority of our spring repairs consist of repairing and replacing backflow preventers that have frozen over the winter.
It's never too early to get on our winterization list.
When the "company" that installed your sprinkler systems fills your mainline with rocks causing your backflow to fail, we can fix it.
Upgrading a brass valve on an galvanized system to a modern Hunter valve.
We will begin Spring Start-ups on April 15th.

Today was the perfect day to start the sprinkler season.
Our children love to help their Dad on small projects and today they didn't have school, so the timing was perfect.
I wanted to take a little time and re-introduce our company and who we are.
James grew up in Logan his entire life but did leave to work in Southern Utah for a little bit and also attend SUU.
After college we decided that we wanted to raise our children in the small town of Logan, where James grew up. I lived in Smithfield back in the late 80’s, attending North Cache and Sky View.
James has done it all working for companies in Logan in his early teens… sprinklers, landscaping, roofing, and the list goes on.
We realized that while James was working very hard for other sprinkler companies, that his knowledge and skills surpassed the owners of these companies, and it was time to take a chance on starting our own company.
In October of 2016 we launched Sprinkler Repair Guy and now we have been in business for 7.5 years. However, James has 30 years of knowledge and skills, and he has seen it all when it comes to sprinklers.
We are not new to this business at all. However, since Covid hit, there have been many sprinkler companies that have moved into Logan and started a new trend of people shopping for the lowest bid. A year and a half ago we were doing jobs because of our knowledge and great reputation. I assure you; this has not changed; the same knowledge and great reputation is still there.
Please remember when installing a sprinkler system, you want someone with 16+ plus years of knowledge. Not a group of people putting their years of knowledge together, but someone that has seen it all and can install a sprinkler system that will help your yard for years. Someone that can troubleshoot any situation if you are adding on to an existing system.
We want to thank all of our clients that have been with us from the very beginning, and we look forward to building our future with new clients this season.
