Assume all downed power lines are live and dangerous. 🤕Check for Injuries: Ensure that everyone, including pets, is safe and accounted for. 🔎Assess the Damage: Look for structural damage to your home, vehicles, or other property. We chose this area because there are visible signs of moisture even on a sunny day. We could see water drops on the bottom of the beam and a puddle on the ground below it. Step 2: Drill two holes in the bottom of your stucco coated beam. Step 3: Use the long prongs on your moisture meter to drive up into the wood beneath the stucco. Step 3.5: Take note of how "mushy" the wood is as you drive the probes in. Step 4: Take a look at your moisture reading and consult your instruction manual or building envelope expert for interpretation #stucco #waterdamage #buildinginspection #buildingdoctors
