They were immersed in learning and simulation to help them grow in understanding of how a person's relationship with money can impact their financial decision-making and lead to potential hardship. We are aware of a postcard scam asking members to call a number about a time-sensitive matter on their mortgage. These postcards (which come in a variety of colors) are being sent to consumers all around the country.

Please be aware that this is a scam and did not come from Community 1st CU, or any financial institution. There is a small disclaimer in the bottom left corner indicating the sender is “not affiliated with, sponsored by, and loan information not provided by Community 1st.” It does further state that the information was provided by “LeadPros”.

Please do not call the number listed and provide any personal information. The best thing to do is disregard this mailer. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 866.360.5370 to speak with a C1st Representative.

Our Young Professionals group at C1st recently had the opportunity to partner with Desi Payne, Executive Director with the John Maxwell Leadership Team, to facilitate the John Maxwell Leadership Game during their May meeting. The game is designed for team building and to help increase understanding about different leadership principles and values.

Congratulations to Julie Faler, for recently celebrating 10 years of service with C1st! Julie originally started her C1st career as a part-time teller at our Washington Branch.
