Bridge Street provides 4th/5th grade students a place to be themselves as they make friends and grow in faith.
This week in kidmin we learned that we can choose joy to celebrate what God is doing! Our parent cue for you is sometime this week, as your morning is starting ask your kid: “What is something you can do every day to help you choose joy?”
This week in bridge street we learned that having joy means celebrating what God is doing! Here’s our parent cue for you! While on the go, ask your kid: “Let’s go on a hunt today—let’s try to find people who are being joyful.”
This Sunday is move up week for all of our kids! You will drop your kids off at their current class and we will move up progressionally during service! At then end of service you will pick them up from their new grade’s classroom!
3E Night on Bridge Street ~ ask your kids about the 3E’s of Kingdom Work and brainstorm how they can use their talents, abilities and time to serve God!

Hey parents, this week here’s our parent cue for you! Pray for each other: “God, help us to remember to come to you about everything. You are our best friend, and want us to tell you about everything that is on our hearts and minds.”
Sometimes in Bridge street we get to combine classes with the younger elementary students and that makes for lots of fun and lots of space to help teach some of our younger friends things, like where we can find verses in the Bible! It also gives us a great opportunity to show the importance of having friends that also know God and want to learn about him!🧡☀️❣️🤪🌿

This week we talked about making plans and putting them into practice and we learned that when we practice hearing God’s voice, we begin to recognize it easier! At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “What is something you are waiting on right now? What are some things that may make you afraid or unsure? What are some truths that prove that wrong?”
Hey parents! Here’s our parent cue for you! While on the go, ask your kid: “What is something true about you? What is something not true?” (Give an example: You love baseball. You hate candy.)
This weekend at Superstart we learned the 3E’s of kingdom work! Kingdom work is for everyone. Kingdom work can be done everywhere. Kingdom work can be done with everything. We can even look to scripture to see this! Colossians 3:17 says this, “ Everything you say and everything you do should be done for Jesus your Lord. And in all you do, give thanks to God the Father through Jesus.”

This month we are talking all about patience in kidmin, this week we learned that having patience can make you wise so here’s our parent cue for you-At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “What is something you had to wait for? How did it feel while you were waiting? How did it feel after it happened?”
There are so many fun things all around the Bridge Street room for students to use and so many great spots to talk with friends, or get some energy out!
On Thursdays we meet at 4:00 pm to practice our motions to go along with our worship songs on the following Sunday and we’d love to see you there!

As Easter is still on the front of our minds, our parent cue for you this week is- At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “Why does Easter matter?” Take some time to remind your kids that we can celebrate because God kept his promise by sending us a savior, Jesus!
