Updated my outdoor patio lighting today. This time, I ran cable wire first and hung the lights from the wire. The lights re from and are amazing. RGB, programmable, sound activated, fully customizable. Love it!

Happy 100th Birthday to Stan Lee!

I posted this on my personal page, but totally forgot to tell all of my followers!

You may or may not know, my wife and I went to Planet Comicon in KC this past weekend and had a table where we were selling prints. I had purchased a VIP package for Stan Lee that would allow me to bring 1 item of my choosing to be autographed, attend a panel and get a photograph (early access to all). So, I decided to do a painting of Stan and bring it to him for an autograph. I also took my painting to Hamilton Color Lab, Inc. to have it scanned and had a reproduction made to give to Stan.

When I got to the front of the line and I had it all ready to go, his right hand man pulled me aside. We had a discussion about my intent with the art and print and he asked me if I would consider giving the original to Stan for the Stan Lee Museum. So, of course I was thrilled and honored to do so! Stan Lee saw my painting and LOVED it. The assistant explained to Stan that I was giving them the original and Stan says "Oh great! For the museum? Make sure you put that some place safe!" Part of the exchange deal was I got 5 items autographed of my choice. One of them is below. The full size reproduction of my painting! This has been my most proud moment yet. Thank you all for the tremendous support!
