IMPORTANT NOTE/CORRECTION: No WyldLIfe club this Friday evening at Sequim Middle School because there is no school that day! Club will only meet when school is in session on Fridays (whether PA and Sequim). I'll update the next meeting for Sequim MS when dates are landed by the YL area leaders team.

WyldLife middle school club will be at Sequim Middle School this Friday Nov. 11 at 6:33 pm! Invite a friend and come check it out.

Sequim and Port Angeles will be combining WyldLife clubs for middle school starting this Friday and alternating towns/venues while they build their volunteer leaders base. This Friday will be in PA at Stevens Middle School, then back to Sequim Middle School on 11/11. We hope to organize a DCC van to transport DCC and Sequim MS kids to PA WyldLife clubs. More details coming later this month.

Young Life kicked off last night for high school and WyldLife appears to be coming together for middle school Friday evening at Sequim Middle School starting this week. Hey families! Effective tomorrow night (Sept. 20), we're consolidating High School and Middle School into the earlier (MS) time slot for the immediate future. So, 6:00-7:30 for both MS and HS! Local Young Life leaders Chris and Alex are joining us tomorrow evening as speakers and are bringing 9-square for games. It's a blast! Bring a friend - hope to see you there...

Pizza is being served to our Youth Group kids at DCC this evening. Come on down!

Youth Group will be meeting again on Tuesday evenings, beginning September 6th! Middle School students will meet in the auditorium at 6:00pm and the High School youth group will meet at 7:45pm in the Chapel. Bring a friend!

Over $15,000 was raised this weekend as Team Living Water raced the North Olympic Marathon. 26 participants ran or walked the various events which included a 5k,10k, marathon, full marathon relay, half marathon and kids race.

Martin Murray said the proceeds were enough to provide a brand new well to a village in Guatemala, along with rehabilitating an existing well somewhere else in the world.

“We had a great time. It was a lot of fun. Seemed like people enjoyed it.” Said team captain, Martin Murray, who explained that Team Living Water maintains three goals:

1. Raise awareness of world water crisis and let folks know what LWI is doing about it
2. Raise funds to build well somewhere
3. Create community and have fun doing that

Martin feels they did well to accomplish all three goals.
