We are looking for an experienced Accounting/Office Manager, to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures in our Layton, Utah facility
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee/perform the daily operations of the accounting department including:
· month and end-year process
· Job Cost accounting
· accounts payable/receivable
· cash receipts
· general ledger
· payroll and utilities
· cash forecasting
· capital assets reconciliations
· check runs
· fixed asset activity
· debt activity
· Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
· Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
· Provide recommendations
· Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
· Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
· Meet financial accounting objectives
· Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
Requirements and skills
Proven working experience in Finance
3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
Degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with creating financial statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills

The successful candidate will work with the sales team in preparing, issuing, and following up on RFPs, requisitions, purchase orders, and other required documentation for the procurement of goods for customer projects. This includes managing supplier relationships and negotiating purchase orders with new and existing suppliers, maintaining customer relationships by submitting sales quotes, informing the customer of order lead times, and responding to customer requests for information.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provides customer sales support by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries.
· Prepares quotes for existing and potential customers.
· Supports Outside Sales by providing quotes, vendor information, and customer order history.
· Maintains all quote documentation with accurate pricing, terms, and lead times.
· Manages existing suppliers, identify new suppliers and innovative sources for procuring.
· Negotiates best vendor terms, pricing and delivery based on customer’s budget and schedule requirements.
· Responsible for setting up new items in QuickBooks with the correct margin.
· Monitors stock levels and place orders as needed.
· Manages the Open Sales Order/ Open Purchase Order report.
· Oversees all Pump Build Kit projects by ordering the correct components and scheduling labor.
· Works with the Accounting department to set up new customers and vendors.
· Prepares progress invoices for customers paying in advance.
· Provides the Shipping department with detailed and accurate pick lists and packing slips to accompany shipments.
· Prepares invoices that reflect the contents, pricing, and destination for application to each package that is shipped.
· Tracks direct customer shipments to ensure promised delivery dates are met.
· Coordinates with customers and vendors to receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit.
· Occasionally prepares items for shipment; compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Inside Sales Representative
· Occasionally unpacks, examines, and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
· Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
· Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
· Positive and professional demeanor.
· Ability and drive to maintain a high-level of quality work without direct supervision.
REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma, GED or 1-year sales related experience required.
· High computer application literacy including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PDF viewers/editors, and Outlook.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to use proper grammar, punctuation, and other technical writing skills.
· Ability to work with numbers in terms of pricing and discounting customer quotes.
· Previous experience developing industrial quotations and job estimates is preferred.
· Knowledge of QuickBooks & SAP a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
· Work in a standard office environment with others in attendance.
· Sit at a desk for up to 8 hours per day.
· Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Under general supervision, the Pump Repair Technician performs a wide variety of skilled, high-level duties in the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of pumps used in general industrial applications.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Troubleshoots, disassembles, cleans, and repairs various types of vertical & horizontal centrifugal pumps, submersible pumps and rotating equipment using a combination of power operated, air-driven, and handheld tools.
· Reads and interprets mechanical drawings, parts lists and service manuals.
· Prepares written inspection report of actual findings that will include critical dimensions and recommendations.
· Follows quality control protocols to comply with ANSI and API standards to reduce error.
· Works closely with contractors, vendors, customers, and internal departments.
· Operates heavy equipment including cranes, man lifts, and forklifts.
· Performs welding activities, to include pad welding, tack welding, build-up, and filling; maintains proper levels of materials and supplies.
· Fabricates and modifies parts and equipment, as necessary.
· Operates balance machine to balance pump components according to procedures and specifications.
· Operates sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare pumps and components for paint.
· Operates paint booth to apply protective coatings and paints to pumps and components.
· Follows and complies with all safety rules and regulations, including wearing all necessary PPE required as dictated by the work being performed.
· Maintains and utilizes work areas, tools, and equipment to promote a clean and safe environment.
· Operates company DOT vehicles and provides efficient and safe delivery and pick-up of parts, pumps, tools, etc. while representing the company in a professional manner.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum of 3 years’ related experience.
· Must be familiar with the replacement of different types of mechanical seals, impellers, shafts, bearings, and associated parts.
· Proficient in the use of Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, Dial Indicators, Gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
· Must be familiar with pump fundamentals and rotating equipment operating clearances.
· Laser Alignment/Vibration Analysis experience is a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme heat (non-weather) and risk of electrical shock.
The employees is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance or stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. multiple times daily unassisted, 75 lbs. assisted, and push or pull 100 lbs. assisted.
