The Don Cornelius Foundation

The Don Cornelius Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit formed by the family of Donald C.

Cornelius, Creator of “Soul Train”, who ended his life by su***de on February 1, 2012. The Don Cornelius Foundation is committed to identifying programs that assist those in transition and in need of healing. Our advocacy is dedicated to prevention and support for those contemplating su***de, those in need of healing and survivors who have lost loved ones by increasing the awareness of these programs; supporting their work and creating culturally competent tools for national use.

A message from Tony Cornelius:

“I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who have shown your support for the Soul Train Cruise over the past 11+ years. Together, we’ve created unforgettable memories, and I’m thrilled that the demand continues to grow. Your love and dedication to the artists and their music has made our Soul Train community as strong as ever. And here’s the best part! I would appreciate if you would share this wonderful news of a Fall 2025 Soul Train Cruise with your fellow alumni, affinity groups, friends, and family. If you’re as excited as I am and want to join me in the Fall 2025, we need your support by pre-booking your spot. Don’t wait, share this information with others who would love to experience a music cruise of a lifetime.

Thank you again, and as always, wishing you Love, Peace, and Soul!”

The Temptations were my guest at 11th Annual Don Cornelius Family of Wines wine tasting on the Soul Train Cruise. Every year we invite our people to the table. We pair wine and soul food in association with the Don Cornelius Foundation. I’m joined by the team: Chef Jerome Brown, our Cellar Master, Ricky The Chef and Chef Sondra Rhodes. “It’s a one of a kind experience”.

What a special honor! Otis Williams and the Temptations graced us on the 2024 Soul Train Cruise January 27-February 3rd. As host, I never dreamed I too would be fortunate enough to bring them on stage as my father did some 44 years ago.
