Two things! First my SWEET hubby bought some seed packets for me today! Marigolds and Zinnias! Sunday has come and He has risen! ✝️ Happy Easter! 🌷

On this Good Friday, I reflect upon how Blessed I am and the true meaning of this day. I keep JOHN 3:16-18 scripture on my little refrigerator memory board and have for years. Today I place it at my workstation in my Hobby Nook so that at different times of the day, I continue to reread it and reflect upon His greatest gift to us all on this very day. Have a Good Friday everyone! 🥰

My bad!! 😜 I never shared my card that I made for my hubby! LIFE happens and time slips by before we know it. Instructions below!

Notice how I used Vellum as a panel layer? This allows you to see the pattern paper behind it! It's die cut with the Perennial Postage Die set ( #162607 | 2024 Jan-Apr Mini Catalog p. 23). I used Pretty Peacock CS, Basic White CS, and Delightfully Eclectic 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP). I LOVE this DSP. It has 48 sheets, 4 each of 12 double-sided designs. This item is on the retirement list! See LINK in c.o.m.m.e.n.t.s for this DSP to view ALL the patterns! Get it before it's gone!

Card Measurements:
• Pretty Peacock card base: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ | scored at 4-1/4″
• Basic White CS panels (2): 5-1/4″ x 4″ | front & inside panel
• Delightfully Eclectic 12″ x 12″ DSP panel: 3-1/4″ x 5″
• Vellum panel: 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ | die cut for panel
• Pretty Peacock strip: 4-1/4" x 1/2" | popped up w/dimensionals
• Delightfully Eclectic 12″ x 12″ DSP pattern with blocked letters
• Bubble Batch CS: for punched hearts

Putting It All Together:
1) Layer Basic White & DSP panels onto card base with TomBow Multipurpose Glue or your favorite adhesive.
2) Adhere Vellum with Glue Dots (or vellum adhesive).
3) Cut lettered blocks from patterned paper.
4) Layout letter blocks and Pretty Peacock strip (with punched out hearts) then pop them up with Stampin' Dimensionals to add some dimension!

NOTE: I used a retired punch for my little hearts from Bubble Bath cardstock. You can also find little heart dies in many of our die sets. Also notice the little Bubble Bath hearts in the DSP!

Although I made this for my hubby's Valentine's Day card, you can duplicate it for birthday, anniversary, and/or just because I love you type cards. 🥰

SIMPLY SWEET! I just had to share another alternate card I made from the Sweet Springtime Feb 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit! I cut a card base in two and used the back side for the front panel of this card. I layered it onto Petal Pink cardstock and used the wreath die cut, added the white embellishments, and stamp set from the kit. And I had to add a linen twine bow to the wreath!
