When every photo is so amazing getting it down to 10 favorites is IMPOSSIBLE 🤍 Abby and Nick’s film photos have come back and I am blown away by how breathtaking they are. For their wedding, I channeled classic fairy tale romance and soft colors to bring their love story to life. It was the perfect day 🤍🤍

Leading up to her wedding, Emma talked about her wedding inspiration being Claude Monet- a french impressionist painter known for his watercolor paintings of his estate in France. She really wanted her photos to have that impressionist/french countryside feel. I wasn’t able to visit Monet’s estate while I was in France, but I did look through a lot of his work and found a painting I really loved! That painting became my starting point as I made Emma and Jamison’s mood board. Even from there, I found a spot at where we paid homage to the original painting itself. I love sharing my creative process, so here is the painting by Monet that I loved. Swipe to see our nod to that painting itself! And then I’ve included my vision board that I created for Emma and Jamison’s wedding, and then I’ve filled it out with the actual photos (mostly shot on film) that I got back from their wedding day. Seeing the inspiration to design to product to fully completed vision is so satisfying and which is why I get so excited when my clients have a clear vision and know what they want for their wedding day. I had such a fun day photographing their wedding and really enjoyed myself creatively!
