100% Pure New Hampshire Maple Syrup and Granulated Maple Sugar produced by NH natives, George and Kim Stroup.
Family-owned and operated producer of 100% Pure New Hampshire maple syrup. Sap is collected from maple trees located in Sugar Hill, NH, then transported to the sugar house where it is boiled to maple syrup. The syrup is filtered before bottling to produce a clear, clean maple syrup. Old Man Maple is "Sweetness fresh from the tree, not the factory!"

Maple trees are classified in a family of their own, the Aceraceae. The word Acer is derived from a Latin word meaning "sharp," and the name refers to the characteristic points on the leaf lobes.
There are approximately 125 species worldwide and 12 maples native to North America. However, five of those maple species are vastly more common to spot on your nature walk. That's because the seven less common species are found regionally, whereas the five most common ones are more widespread.

Our 2021 US Grade A maple syrup crop earned the NH Seal of Quality today! (Guess we can keep the sign on the Sugarhouse for another year!)
Sap is flowing like a river, making a midnight run to bring in more sap from the sugarbush...I love this time of year!! Thank you all for your support! Kim
