We have some exciting news about our newest Sunflower Farms employees! Maddy & Abby had baby boys just 9 weeks apart and the Miller fam is in heaven 💙

So with that being said, Happy Mother’s Day to these new mommas & all mommas in every capacity 🌻

Hi friends! It’s been WAY too long (& we’re so sorry for ghosting you), but we figured we would catch you up on all things Sunflower Farms 🌻

Unfortunately, it’s been tough around here. We’ve been at a stand still due to a curve ball we were thrown regarding the last phase of our permitting. We are relentlessly fighting for all that we want to accomplish, but it has taken and will take even more time. Moral of the story- we aren’t goin’ anywhere!

So what are we getting into now? While we pass the time, attending county hearings, completing further permitting studies, etc, we are going to dip our toes into a couple of different things.

First being- rentals (many being handmade by our owner, Bill)! We have wanted to get into rentals since the beginning and there’s no time like the present! Items & pricing can be found on our website NOW!

Second being- renting out our space to photographers to host their minis or shoots of any kind! For this, please reach out to us directly for more info.

We so appreciate everyone sticking with us through this process. It has been frustrating as heck, but the Miller fam is made up of some very motivated (and persistent 😉) people!

Sunflower Farms Venue - Wedding Venues Sunflower Farms is the peninsula's newest and prettiest wedding venue for intimate ceremonies and receptions!

These two were genuinely the sweetest & we are so glad they chose Sunflower Farms to host their special day! We will see them back come November of 2023 🌻

We are so excited to introduce our next couple- Yanna & Jaden! These two are tying the knot June of 2022. Welcome to the Sunflower Farms Fam, you two 🌻

Don’t count us out when it comes to birthday parties, baby showers, or even football banquets like we have tonight 🏈

Time for another fun announcement, that we hope will benefit all of our wedding biz pals! We hosted a styled shoot in April and we were so blown away by the eagerness to collaborate and support one another!

Photographers & videographers- here’s the info you’re looking for!! We are going to host a styled shoot and open it up to around 16 creators over a weekend span. The shoot will be held ✨January 8th & 9th✨. This shoot will be complete with a charcuterie spread, florist, rentals, a couple with attire (maybe two), signage/lettering, a cake, and bar.

Ticket presale for the shoot will begin today at $175. Presale will last through next Monday, the 15th. After the 15th, the price will be set at $250.

As most of you know, the only catch is that you share content with the vendors that are contributing their service and time to the shoot. With that being said, all content will be credited to the creator if ever used on social media

“Landon and I are so excited to celebrate our love at Sunflower Farms. We first met in college at Pacific Lutheran University and ended up reconnecting over social media December of 2018… from there the rest is history! ❤️ We currently live in North End Tacoma with our two pups and can’t wait to tie the knot next summer. SF modern farmhouse vibes and outdoor setting is the perfect combination of both of our styles and exactly what we pictured on our big day!”

The farm had it’s own personal cowgirl out today!

Introducing our newest August 2022 couple! Welcome to the SF Fam, Josh & Sydney 🌻 here’s some more about these two…

“Josh and I couldn’t be more excited for this next journey in our lives! A close friend of ours introduced us about 3 years ago in Port Angeles, Washington, where we went on a few dates and could just tell there was something special between the two of us. Fast forward to now and we are living in Charleston, South Carolina. We wanted to get married in Washington because it has a very special place in both of our hearts. SF is the perfect venue for us to spend our day with our closest family members and friends and we absolutely cannot wait!”

Adding a June 2022 couple to the lineup! We are so excited for Kayley & Brackon to join the SF Fam! Here’s what they had to say:

“Brackon and I met originally freshman year of high school and dated for a very short period of time. We reconnected our senior year and we’ve been together ever since! (Almost 6 years). We have moved to the other end of the state and back and are finally getting married. We are looking forward to getting married at the beautiful Sunflower Farms, as it is the perfect mix of farmhouse and modern!” 🌻

We are so excited for you to meet our newest August 2022 couple! Here’s a bit about these two:

“Chris and I both grew up in Gig Harbor, but didn’t cross paths until my freshman year at Gonzaga, where we met at YoungLife. We were good friends for a few years and then realized we had something special at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. God brought us together at the perfect time and we are so excited to officially start our life together! SF fits our vibe so perfectly as a couple and we can’t wait to celebrate our love with all our favorite people there!”

Ending the weekend on a high note with a booking for this very beautiful couple! We are so excited and honored to be able to host these two tying the knot with all of their family and friends in August🤍 Welcome to the Sunflower Fam Tyler and Aly! Here’s what they had to say:

Tyler and I couldn’t be more excited to start this next chapter in our lives! We were best friends in high school before we started dating our senior year. We navigated being long distance during our first year of college before we both transferred to WSU (go Cougs!) where we continued to make more memories together. This year we both began our careers and now we get to start another adventure next summer! We have always wanted to get married close to home with all of our family and friends there, and Sunflower Farms was everything we have dreamed of and more!🤩🤍

Winter isn’t even here yet & we already miss outdoor ceremony season 🌞
