Verve Basketball Academy, VBA is organized to influence and provide our present up-and-coming youth with encouragement and resources necessary for proper disciplinary development through sports. Investing in the future and improving the lives of future generations is a priority of VBA. VBA supplies resources and services for use in the community to make a positive impact in the lives of yo

uth through demonstration of athletic skills and training. Within this organization, the youth will be instilled with the benefits of what it takes to be able to stimulate their mind and body through self-discipline, so that they may be able to lead a healthy lifestyle and develop their future. Company Strategies

Taking a deeper look into the aspirations and goals of the S4S, listed below are the basic strategies that will be the motives practiced in aiding disciplinary development of youth through a variety of athletic related activities.

· Provide a prompt and sufficient off-season work out regime
◦ Explain hard work and what it takes to excel, and importance of athletics in the off-season
◦ Practice togetherness and teamwork
· Expose pupils to professions outside of sports
◦ Have mentors explains how’s athletics influenced and impacted their lifestyles
◦ i.e. doctors, lawyers, judges
· Introduce youth to professional athletes
◦ Have role models figures speak and share knowledge with their lifetime experience in athletics
· Help youth seek goals they would like to fulfill by proper encouragement and management of their decisions
◦ Educate youth on possible careers within, or outside of athletics

Extracurricular activities have always been a great way to provide youth with a means to stay out of trouble and remain adherent to a disciplinary lifestyle. The VBA is taking the notions of extracurricular activities one step further by providing not only the hands on aspects of athletics, but also the business and morals aspects that coincide with the activities as well. In order to achieve success in those motives, a more advanced knowledge of sports in the community needs to be addressed and recognized. Conclusion

VBA will work to compel as much youth as possible to make positive choices now that will impact their lives for years to come. Time is critical in taking action in the lives of our younger generations. We need to start now in becoming, and continuing to be, an active part of their everyday development. Investing in the future of our youth will help mold them through teaching them discipline and hard work by way of the education of athletic activities.
