Are you looking for a Volunteer Opportunity?
We are providing a FREE community project for adults and teens, to complete a large paint-by-number canvas.
One of our members, Linda Dyball, took a lovely photo of the river which a company then turned into a 2’ x 3’ paint by number.
We will have the canvas and paints set up at the Fenton Farmer’s Market/Community Concert on August 10 & 17. 4:00 - 8:00pm. We will also have something for the children to paint at the same time. please sign up here: volunteersignup.org/4M8P7

Saturday, August 12, the World of Wonder at Fenton Schools’ Ellen St. Campus, is holding their “End-Of-Summer Community Social”. We will be providing the "Creation Station" for the kiddos and could use 3 volunteers front 9:00 - 11:30 and 3 more from 11:00 - 1:30

Happy 4th! Freedom Festival was a fun successful day with our Artsy Parts and patriotic photo prop on the front lawn of the community center. We had a great partnership with Kiwanis this year and together we provided all of the kid/family activities. arts

Call for Artists for Fenton Art Walk

Congratulations to Meghan Smith ,Lake Fenton art student for winning first place at the Young Artist Competition at the Greater Flint Art Council this past month, her winning piece was an acrylic painting called Clutter. She also won the Congressional Art Competition and her artwork will be displayed for the next year at the Capitol in Washington D.C. She will travel to DC for the awards ceremony in June. Her acrylic piece “Packed Away”won for this competition.
