Today, we focused on owning Jewish books, and each camper bound their very own book! 📚✂️

They enjoyed a silent disco storytelling session, emphasizing the deep meaning behind learning! 🎧📖✨

Each bunk held an exciting auction to win a Jewish book of their own! 🏆📚

We ended our Friday with a grand Shabbos party and banquet! 🍷🎉

We hope that all the learning and meaningful relationships at camp promote Jewish pride among our campers that will last forever! 🌟

🌟 Day #9 at Camp Gan Izzy! 🌟

Campers had a blast learning all about the importance and meaning behind Tefillin! 📿✨

We started our day with a live Tefillin wrapping of our CITs, giving campers a chance to witness the beautiful tradition that men begin at Bar Mitzvah age. 🎉👦

Our creative campers made their very own Shema cards, representing the beautiful prayer inside Tefillin. ✍️📜

They learned about connecting our minds to our hearts to connect with Hashem! 🧠❤️🙏

Together, they enjoyed an epic trip to Oasis! From the Laser Maze and jungle gym to VR fun and games, campers had an absolute blast showing off in our bright yellow shirts! 🌟🏃‍♂️🎮💛

We can’t wait for our grand finale tomorrow! 🚀🎊

🌟 Day #8 at Camp Gan Izzy! 🌟

Today's Mitzvah: Jewish Family! 🕍💖

Expressing our Jewish pride begins at home by following Torah and Mitzvahs and creating a dwelling place for Hashem! 📜🏡✨
Our creative campers had a blast making popsicle stick homes and adorable tissue dolls to represent our Jewish families. 🏠👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
They then competed in thrilling relay races, showcasing teamwork and the importance of accepting everyone, just like in a family. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🤝
After some exciting sports and a delicious lunch, the campers had a splashing good time in the pool! 🏊‍♂️🍽️🌞

🌟 Day #7 at Camp Gan Izzy! 🌟

Perfect timing, because Day 7 was all about the Mitzvah of giving Tzedakah (Charity)! 💖

We kicked off our day with an exciting penny hunt, where campers scoured the area to find as many pennies as possible! 🕵️‍♂️💰

Next up, a quick trip to Giant, where each bunk tallied up the Tzedaka we've collected so far at camp! 🛒✨

Our amazing campers baked delicious corn muffins to share with those in need. 🧁❤️ They also decorated beautiful Tzedaka boxes! 🎨

To top it all off, we went to Alopacas State Park to enjoy the gorgeous weather and the great outdoors! 🌳☀️

What an incredible day of fun, giving, and adventure! 🚀💚

Adam Somogyi and I lived together in an apartment in Jerusalem during our year in Yeshiva in Israel.
