Ornament Spotlight!
Created by Minnesota artist Jon Oien out of recycled window pane glass. We only have a few of these in the shop this year. The soft color is truly reminiscent of Lake Superior ice. Shop in person in our Canal Park glass art gallery or DM to arrange purchase and shipping.

What's on the work bench today? Holiday ornaments!!! I know what your thinking, he is spilling glass every where. My scrap levels are below 1%. Really, almost nothing is thrown in the trash from everything I make. How??? I end up with small pieces of glass. Those that are not used, are put in a bucket and given to another artist that uses it in their projects. And they uses every piece.
What a full circle... materials that where scrap, repurposed with no scrap in that process. Even the copper used in this project are recycled ♻️. Scrap report totals for this year... 3 pieces of plastic coating from wire. 😎
