MAX 98.3 FM is LIVE at the Marshall County Fair.
Tonight marks our final night at the fair as tonight we are sponsored by Woodlawn Health.
Between now & 7 p.m. we will be joined by special guests from Woodlawn like OB Director April Rantz so make sure you tune in and hear all the services they are providing our community. Better yet stop by our location in the Community Building and pick up some goodies Woodlawn is passing out. In addition, you can sign up for MAX’s giveaways - FREE tickets to Holiday World, Indiana Beach and the South Bend Cubs. We will be drawing the winners tonight and notifying them so good luck and come enjoy the Fair!
If you are headed out to the Marshall County Fair tonight or tomorrow, make sure you enjoy many of the great eats available.
On Monday some of the MAX staff hit the Argos Firehouse Kitchen run by the Argos Fire Department.
Boy was that a home run decision.
Mark Lindsey took on the challenge to eat the "Chief" - a one pound hamburger patty with about as much cheese on it as the burger itself.
Not only did Mark devour the "Chief," which he had smothered in coney sauce, in record time, but he gave it a huge thumbs up.
Doug Griffiths opted for the LDH (Large Diameter Hose), a half pound all-beef grilled to perfection hotdog also smothered with the homemade coney sauce.
Doug took corn on the cob home to his family along with a couple of Assistant Cheese sandwiches (four cheeses also grilled to perfection with the firemen's seal branded into them as you can see in the picture).
Doug and his family gave rave reviews on the food, too.
Important to note is all the proceeds the Firehouse Kitchen makes go directly to support the Argos Fire Territory.
Check out their menu and bring a healthy appetite to the fair. It's definitely worth the trip!
Today's MAX Morning Show was on location LIVE at Biggby Coffee in Plymouth celebrating their 1-year anniversary at their Marshall County location!
Needless to say, business was booming and MAX's Tony Ross, Mark Lindsey and Doug Griffiths were joined by Biggby Coffee of Plymouth's co-owners Luke and Ethan.
To celebrate Biggby's Plymouth birthday Luke and Ethan encourage everyone to stop by their 558 Columbus Drive location and celebrate in style with today's ALL DAY SPECIAL - $1.99 drinks. That's right! You can pick up any drink, any size, all day for just $1.99.
Biggby Coffee is open until 8 p.m. so make sure you stop by today to take advantage of their Birthday Drink Special.
Thank you to Biggby Coffee for being such gracious hosts to the MAX team and for being a wonderful sponsor of MAX 98.3 FM WYMR!
Remember Biggby Coffee doesn't just have great coffee, but has wonderful breakfast sandwiches, muffins, donut holes, a large selection of all kinds of drinks and much more!

We’re seeing a lot of damage/impacts from the storms last night, including high water, downed power lines, and debris. Thank you to all the crews out taking care of this!
Be careful during your travels today. Slow down so that you have longer to react to debris in the road. Do not drive through water covering the roadway or over downed power lines. Treat intersections where the signal is out as four-way stops. Be prepared to seek alternate routes for roads closed due to storm damage.
Avoid N Center St Plymouth, Tree down across road
