Practice Self Compassion
Today I feel I made a significant breakthrough in tackling my trigger to anger/defensiveness/resentment from others. I was able to feel my nervous system become triggered without reacting with a loud/angry tone and kept my voice calm and my system regulated enough that I didn't become highly anxious, which is a feeling that drives me to use, I didn't run for a cigarette right away I just focused on keeping my thoughts get distraught about what happened and focused on the solution which is typing this post out congratulating myself for making progress.

The benefits of sharing a studio with over the last 47 years are incalculable, really. To have my best friend nearby and willing to consult on any aesthetic problem is the best condition I can imagine for development of the creations. She can see things or suggest things that I might never imagine. The challenges are part of the benefit because any abrasive or reactiveness on my part is often a result of something unexamined in myself. I’m in this for a lifetime of transformation.

Our Story
I'm here to remind you of your dreams. We all have one, no matter if it's your job, your hobby or something you haven't done since you were a kid. Well, don't ever stop trying to live up to them, even if it's just an evening here and there to yourself, you deserve it. We all deserve to be happy. It's so hard to forget that sometimes in the hustle and bustle of life; but when you were a kid it was all you could think about and wanted to do. That's called passion, and it's something we all need in our lives, without it we become stagnant, distraught, even hopeless. Too many people end up miserable and give up on their dreams. Well let me tell you right now, you're doing the world a disservice. Who knows what you could create if you stuck with your dreams, there's something magical about that passion, and it has the potential to change the world. You are doing yourself and the world a disservice, because as harsh as it is, the world needs your passion so it can become a better world for all of us. We are growing past the days where our lives revolve around raising a family, the world is overpopulated and it is creating too many problems that could lead to something disastrous. Here are the days where people reconnect to the source again, realize we're all connected and we all have something to offer if we just listen to it. Find balance. Live your dreams, no one else can do it for you. No matter how hard it is, and it will be hard. Please remember the Universe is in you, we are all connected and remember your spirituality, whatever it is. Find some time everyday to connect with it. Live it. Master your mind and catch your dreams, even if it's only part time.
