Our team was hired by a local landscape architect to construct this project in Flint Hill. They wanted to create a terraced landscape down to their dock overlooking the Jordan River. We installed two tractor trailer loads of boulders, slab steps and stepping stones. Next they will be filling the space with plantings to add color and year round interest. Looking forward to collaborating on the finished product!

Check out this pool area we constructed in Hume! We installed brushed concrete for their pool deck with a bluestone border to match the coping. The other two sides were covered with decorative River Jack, large stone boulders and Pink Muhly Grass.

They wanted a natural stone walkway from their house down to the pool so we set large irregular flagstone in concrete then planted ‘Stepables’ between the joints. We also planted Cryptomerias to act as a privacy screen.

Here is another fun project we completed earlier this year in Bristow. Our clients had a vision for a low maintenance living space with a Zen garden vibe. We started by burying all of their downspouts and creating French drains out to the woods. Then we built an Irregular Flagstone patio with steps leading up to the house and more steps to the seating area below the deck. All of the areas around the patio were covered with mulch, river rock and plants. We also added new composite boards and rails to their deck plus low voltage lighting on the deck and stone steps. Many of the plants we installed were grown from seed in our own greenhouse!

This was an exciting project for some great repeat clients in Delaplane. We did all the stonework on their interior fireplace and the exterior chimney. In addition, we built a new flagstone patio with seating walls and a concrete hot tub pad. The lighting and the stone columns really add a nice touch!

Here is a fun project we completed earlier this year in Warrenton. Removed the existing deck and above ground pool then added this awesome patio area. We built a retaining wall for the patio and long steps down from the driveway to a new Gazebo with a Fireplace and Hot Tub encased in stone. Then we added more steps down to relax by the new pool😎.
