🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 Hello everyone, as a current genderq***r person and former child I can tell you that I was Q***r when I was a kid. Like, so Q***r no closet could hold me. One of my earliest memories is of me tricking my family so I could watch “My Little Ponies.” At age 4 I knew how I was supposed to interact with the world based off of my perceived gender. This was the 80’s (I’m 40 now) so there wasn’t much (if any) resources for a person like me. And guess what, I still grew up to be Q***r as F**k. My family system and community thought they were helping me by shielding me from knowledge and support. It actually did the opposite, it hurt me deeply. I’m a tough cookie and fought like Hell to survive, and I still have to deal with the traumas I endured. So, make sure to let the Q***r kids (and adults) in your life know that you love them, just as they are, by telling them. And then put that love into action by telling the leadership of Texas how you think they should support Trans youth. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Y’all, I’ve been working on a presentation for that I’m giving this Friday. 🤓I cannot express to y’all how much I love them. They had me as a contract therapist for years, celebrated every wild piece of me, and encouraged me to grow my own business. I wouldn’t be as successful as I am today without the love of Billy and Teri. It’s gonna be like coming home when I provide this three hour workshop on More Than Monogamy for them and their team.
