It’s truly amazing how our bodies carry babies for 9 months! I still can’t believe a month ago this little babe was just snug as a bug in the womb. 💛✨

Reminding myself that I was ME before being a MAMA.

Reminding myself to not lose me during this motherhood journey.

Reminding myself that it’s ok to not be ok when days are hard.

Reminding myself to love myself so that I can love my baby the best I can.

And to all the new mamas out there…you are doing your best and that’s all that matters.🖤

The most rewarding and mentally exhausting thing I’ve ever done in my entire life. The days are long, repetitive, and sometimes lonely. But they’re also full of love, little moments, and feeling proud to be this little girl’s mama.

We’re almost 1 month in and although motherhood is overwhelming and hard work, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Love you Cora Mae, my sweet baby girl!🤍🤍🤍

39 weeks and the countdown is on. 1 week left!🤍

Pregnancy has made me appreciate my body in a whole new way. At first the tears and aggravation came when I slowly started to grow my little girl. But over the course of these 9 months I’ve embraced my changing body and have been simply amazed at the process of growing a human.

Now we’ll see if she comes by her due date or hangs out just a little longer. What do you guys think!?

I love this man so much! It’s hard to believe that it’s just the two of us for only 2 more months. To be honest I’m so nervous to be a mom, to care for another human being, and selfishly to not be able to have my life the way it is now. Just him and I. But I know Miss Cora will bring us so much joy and new level of love to our current love we have for each other and that makes me excited. 🤍❤️

Things that happened in the second trimester:
•skin issues resolved
•baby girl moving so much
•energized to the next level
•belly button almost popped out
•pelvic girdle pain (the most annoying pain I’be experienced so far)
•cravings for bean & cheese burritos and quesadillas

Looking for my fall wardrobe like…

I’ve been holding out buying maternity clothes because I don’t want to spend a ton just for a couple of months of outfits. I have been going through my closet to see what I can still wear (realizing I own way too many cropped tops) and deciding what staples I need.

Clothing items on my list to get:
•1 pair of black pants
•1 pair of bootcut jeans
•Basic tees in versatile colors
•2-3 cute tops
•1-2 dresses (I can use cropped sweater with these for extra warmth)
•2-3 oversized sweaters

The good thing with buying these things are that you can reuse them if you plan to have another kid or resell them on sites like Poshmark or FB Marketplace.

Searching for fall! 🍁🧡 I’m ready for the cooler temps and the changing leaves. As much as I love summer, fall is by far my favorite season. Cozy mornings, cozy outfits, and all the fall scents except cinnamon cause umm worst headache ever!😆 What’s your favorite fall things?

✨19 Weeks✨

So far my pregnancy has been a breeze minus the insanely itchy skin and weird dry patch under my chin. Growing a baby is the craziest experience my body has gone through so far and I’m not even done yet!

I’m learning to love my changing body, the growing belly, the skin dimples, and all the other things that come with creating this baby girl. ☺️💕
