I have not been venturing out to shoot stars as frequently as I used to for a while! And hope I can catch scenes like this! It’s a totally different feel to be under sky full of stars!
Flowers in spring = Beautiful! Superbloom inside Redwood Forest = irresistible! Really love how these shots turned out with posing for these shots! Don’t take much portraits but thought it’s nice to share these! Btw we took care not to stomp on the flowers and walked around vegetation.
Superbloom in Mori Point -
Auroras from flight to India over the arctic! First was right over Greenland coastal mountains and the rest were over the arctic region with icy ocean and stratus clouds sprayed across.
One of the evening here in Pacifica!
Fall in Utah - couple more shots from Utah chasing the beautiful fall colors.
Amazing sunset and it was just pure bliss to witness it.
Utah Foliage was stunning! Haven’t seen such brilliant pallet of colors with dramatic landscape before! 🍁
First or the second :) Had a hard time picking between these shots! First with some light making the silhouettes stronger and the second that makes it blending with natural light and silhouetting against the bright shark fin rock! Credits to and Praveen for posing!
I spied Milkyway behind our beloved captured from with showing the glimps of it blocking the light pollution from the city lights!
Mori point superbloom under night sky - one of iconic superbloom location in SF Bay Area!
Follow up to my video here are some shots from Carrizo plains! 😍
Moorea adventure over water and under some beautiful southern hemisphere night sky!
Shots from one of the most beautiful sunset with a full circle rainbow ;p! I found another rainbow at the end of one ;) Not in order but based on the landscape and how light changed so crazy! Missed out on doing a Timelapse though :(
Tahiti nights - first time checking out the southern hemisphere milkyway - shot using Vivo X90Pro astro night photo mode. Yes captured using a phone for 2minutes on a tripod as I saw it tried shooting multiple exposure to bring out all the details with no shaky trees were impressive! Unfortunately couldn’t capture much of the night sky as along with the new milkyway experience came my first Covid experience - catching it after 3 years!
Was blown away to see that cell phones have come all the way from being crappy imaging devices to this! Shot using 7pro using long exposure mode hand held and I am not sure if i can find any issues with it! Btw iPhone shot was still crappy! 🤭 Also this was shot in purisima creek in San Mateo county which went straight from drought stricken to flooding with a lot of trail damage! Thanks for clearing the trails and making it safe for public to enjoy this beautiful park!
Finally was able to shoot something worthwhile after being completely buried with work and lack of motivation! The low clouds created magic today with some amazing rays over the San Pedro rock and the ocean, and I didn’t want to miss it!
Happy New Year! Once in a year storm hit Bay Area and then it opened up several unique photo opportunities to shoot usual spots with flowing water all over! Here is one such scene with greens all over and small waterfalls flowing on the trails. #2023
SF Nights - ventured out with friends to hangout in the most beautiful city in the world on a rainy reflection filled night! Check out the series of images captured on phone as it never ceased to rain to take out my other camera! :)
Happy Winter Solstice - an official beginning to some dramatic California sunsets! Easily the Best time to enjoy the color show of nature.
Twice dramatic with some beautiful reflections! California sunset lives upto expectations always!
Moon Mars and Maram (Tree)! - went to see the full moon rise over my favorite tree and then came along the red planet Mars just behind it tailgating our moon! Shot this in Pacifica CA!
Frozen - a very rare beautiful frosty morning with a warm heart from our very own beloved sun! Play of light and shadows along with ice crystals as temps dipped close to freezing today in California Coast which is quite rare due to ocean influence!
Northern California beach and some beautiful dark skies with setting milkyway center!
inspired me to post some of the recent fog bows after their fog bow feature article 🙃 Enjoy these not so uncommon phenomenon! You just need the fog and light interaction which is quite easily possible to see in California coast when coastal marine layer moves towards the land and sun breaks thru to hit the low clouds at the right angle! Much better when you are on hill when fog moves up or recedes with light hitting it! :) So if you see light(preferably low angle sun) and if you see misty fog then head out and see if you can spot one :)
September rain in SF Bay Area got the rainbows as well! Went on a last minute drive to catch them after tracking the weather!
Exploration mode after a while! Thanks to for the motivation for me to drive up north to capture this location in Sonoma Coast! We really enjoyed watching the milkyway and some late summer flowers still in bloom in these grasslands! Also met with first time milkyway shooter who enjoyed the shoot along with us :)
This week one of the humpback whale washed over to the coast side of Pacifica! It has been an exceptional year for the whale watching but with more opportunity for us to see these beautiful creatures there was even more opportunity for one of the most beautiful killer animal in the ocean “Orcas” who were the culprit behind the kill! Here is a tribute for the humpback that washed over to the shore! Life goes on!
A night out with clubman of :) Captured on a clear night in California coast!
