AFGE Local 2814 Delegates are at the 43rd National Convention. On Wednesday, Delegates Scott Hoose, Owen Smith, and Daniel Perkins voted for the 3 national officers. National President Kelly and National Secretary/Treasurer Bunn were re-elected. Dr. Kendrick Roberson was newly elected as National Vice President for Women and Fair Practices. By our local sending delegates to the convention, we have a voice in the leadership and policy of the federation.

Fully Staffed FLRA Is Good News for Mistreated Workers AFGE locals are ready to have their cases heard as the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) is now fully operational following the Senate confirmation of Anne Wagner as its third member.

AFGE D7 and L781 hosted a Spring Event for Freedom’s Path at Hines, VA on March 28th.

Food, goodie bags and an egg hunt were provided.
