Ordering for our NEW Edukit school supply kits is OPEN and ready to help you make your school shopping for the 24-25 school year a breeze! Families can purchase a complete school supply package with ease by going to http://www.edukitinc.com, searching for Deep Creek Elementary and clicking on the grade level(s) for your child(ren). All supply kits are specific to the supply lists of our teachers, so you will get exactly what your child's teacher requests. You can even add on required headphones if your child needs them for this year. In order to have your complete package delivered to the school for open house night you need to order by 6/25/24.

This new option coordinated by the PTO makes school shopping easy, affordable, and as a bonus each kit will give a $10 donation to the school for our events this year!

Cubs it is our annual Where’s Waldo in Downtown PG! Don’t forget to make plans to stop by Copperfish books and get your Waldo scavenger hunt checklist! 🐻💙

The search for Waldo begins in Downtown Punta Gorda on July 1st, and our little man has taken a beating from the Florida sun…😅 He’s currently in for a quick touch-up, but don’t worry, our expert colorist (armed with a red Sharpie) is optimistic he’ll be back to his old self just in time for July. 😉

Kindergarten had a blast at water day 💦 this afternoon! Thank you to Charlotte County Fire-EMS and our PTO volunteers for a fun ending to the school year! 🚒

Today, Mrs. Savage’s class and Miss March’s class set off on a camping🏕️ themed treasure hunt. Students used their inferencing skills and practiced teamwork and communication to secure access to the bear’s 🐻secret treasure!

What a better way to end a year of hard work 💪 and 100 AR points 📚than with mint chocolate chip ice cream 🍦 and Pac-Man?! Thanks, Mrs. Mann for recognizing their hard work with such a sweet treat! 🐻💙

Ms. Zuccos class went on a virtual field trip to the Summer Olympic Games today! What a fun way to go in a “field trip” during the last week of school!

Mrs. Starkweather’s class got a very sweet treat today! They have been reading about jobs in the community and got to learn how to decorate cupcakes from a real baker! Thank you to Burnt Store Publix for donating the supplies and Mrs. Groom for sharing your special talent with our students!
