🥧 My personal summer favorite, Just Peachy - Delicious juicy Georgia peaches from Lane Southern Orchards make this a perfectly sweet, bright, just-right pie!

🥧 Buckeye - Our famous flaky crust filled with a layer of fudgey peanut butter-chocolate ganache, creamy PB mousse, milk chocolate ganache, and PB crumbs. A customer favorite!

🥧 Key Lime - This summer classic is made with gluten-free ingredients! A sweet crumb crust, tangy and smooth lime curd, and lightly sweetened whipped cream...yum!

There's also more produce coming onto the market every week! If you haven't tried out the MCLG Market yet, this is a great time of year to check it out. 😍

The peaches that we picked up from the Farm On Central (grown by Lane Southern Orchards) are absolute perfection. They are baking up into the BEST Just Peachy pies--sweet and bright and bursting with fresh peach flavor!

We are not taking orders this coming week, but I can have one of these beauties ready for you to pick up any time after 7/22. Grab one of these before peach season ends (translation: before my kids eat all the peaches).

Welp, I talked a big game about "rain or shine", but the red radar won out and we had to pack up early. It's a bit of a bummer, but the good news for you is that we have PLENTY of pie available! We're offering them at a discount because we are trying to make healthy choices as a family, and that doesn't include eating nothing but pie for the next three days. Hey pie friends, if you are also a sourdough friend, check out this new home bakery! My dear friend April has worked for several years now on perfecting her sourdough loaves and they are *delish*. She also grinds her own wheat, which preserves the nutrients in the grain (and probably earns her some baker bonus points), resulting in bread that is as healthy as it is tasty. Can't beat that. 🍞

There's also lots of seasonal produce making its way onto the market! I spied greens, herbs, spring onions, and TOMATOES (boy oh boy). It's a billion degrees outside, so simply head to the MCLG website to do your shopping from the air-conditioned comfort of home, then head downtown next week to pick up your goodies. There just isn't any simpler way to support your local growers, makers, and producers and to know that you are getting the freshest, high-quality food for your family. ❤️

Listen, sometimes you want the ✨wow factor️✨️ of a whole pie, and sometimes having to worry about cutting 8 perfectly equal slices is one more thing you don't want to deal with. We understand. We're always happy to pre-slice your pie order for you! 😁

Normally I say "Saturdays are for cinnamon rolls", but...it's summer. Summer mornings are for cinnamon rolls. 😍

I'll be baking these tasty treats tomorrow, so let me know if you need some in your life! Our cinnamon rolls are a customer favorite with good reason; soft, pillowy dough spiraled with richly spiced brown sugar filling, topped with our signature cream cheese icing. Available by the half-dozen for $15.

Took a break from strawberry pies this afternoon to make some other strawberry treats for the family!

Strawberry and strawberry-rhubarb jam (and yes I did carry a hot jar outside to take a picture of it in the sun because it was prettier that way) 🤤

Also trying something new this year--putting all the strawberry tops from the last couple of weeks to use! I've got strawberry juice straining now and hopefully I can make some jelly and syrup with it tomorrow.
