Thanks to a generous donation from Ford of Upland, automotive technology students now have a new 2023 Lincoln Aviator Black Label to learn from. This incredible addition will allow students to gain hands-on experience with the latest technologies in the automotive industry.
Auto Tech Program Coordinator, Jonathan Polidano said, "It’s going to be great to have another vehicle that’s not hybrid and has a traditional combustion engine. That way, if we need to do demonstrations for our students on direct injection faults or more advanced traditional powertrain systems, we can do that. The combination of the turbocharged V6 engine, all-wheel drive, and 10-speed transmission affords our students learning opportunities in technologies that most of our other vehicles can’t replicate."
The vehicle was acquired with the support of the Chaffey College Foundation

On July 26, 1990, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law. What initially started as a day of celebration in 1990, is now celebrated throughout the month of July. Happy Disability Pride Month!
A message from our Director of Disability Programs & Services, Jacob Peck: "Disability Pride Month is a crucial time for us to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our students with disabilities at Chaffey College. Advocating for disability inclusion, equity, and accessibility is not just about providing support; it's about ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive and succeed. This month reminds us of the importance of creating an inclusive and equitable environment where all students feel valued and empowered. At DPS, we are committed to promoting civil rights, inclusivity, and equity, and we take pride in the strides we have made together as a community."
