Here are the 3 things you need to prioritize when you’re trying to be pain free:
Tip #1: You are responsible for your healing.
Unless you are actually broken (like you were in a car accident and broke a bone), no one, no matter how good they are, is going to fix you. Healing from chronic pain, or any chronic condition, requires you to listen to your body and then take action to promote your healing.
Tip #2: Posture is directly related to chronic pain and the body’s ability to heal.
When muscles are balanced and joints are aligned it reduces grinding in the joints, compression of spinal discs, and relaxes tense muscles which allows the body the space to heal and regenerate. More importantly it relieves the pain and prevents it from returning in the future.
Tip #3: Minimize inflammation
Inflammation is another big contributor to chronic pain. There are many things that can create inflammation in the body. It is important to minimize inflammation so you can relieve your pain and get back to your activities.
