Long Time Coming
Alacritas Health and Wellness was born out of my own need for health ‘n wellness. Yes, I’d always had a passion for health ‘n wellness, but did not include myself in that passion. Finally in the fall of 2009 I realized I may have arrived at my last chance to salvage what health I had left.
After going through the Weight Watcher program for about the 4th+ time (I was what they term as one of the ‘frequent fliers’ - yes, that was me...in ‘n out) and losing 50 pounds I became a Meeting Room Leader for Weight Watchers. It was during my time as a Meeting Room Leader that I realized my passion for helping others be successful in their health and wellness.
I soon left my job with Weight Watchers and went on to become a certified health coach with the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute in 2016. After my graduation Alacritas Health ‘n Wellness was born.
My passion today is still to meet others where they are and walk alongside of them helping them reach the goals they have set for themselves for their own health and wellness.
