Our residents spent their playing outdoor games and enjoying delicious !

Karisma started as a CNA and later became an LPN. And at the end of March, we were very excited for Karisma to pass her exam and become a RN! She provides great care to our residents, and we're lucky to have her a part of the Alden Nursing team. Thank you, Karisma, for all you do! Happy !

The weather couldn't stop us from bringing home this past weekend! Rain or shine the residents were excited to play in the Special Olympic Spring Games! They had a blast, and we appreciate everyone who came out to cheer the Alden group homes on!

Help us wish our wonderful nurse, Sally, a very special Happy 70th Birthday! Sally is one of our most dedicated nurses who has been with us for 30 years! We appreciate all of her hard work and everything she does for our residents. We wanted to make sure Sally felt special and appreciated while celebrating her birthday with us!

What's a watch party without pre-game activities and delicious food!? Our residents definitely enjoyed their !

Joy filled the air during our residents party! They enjoyed lots of laughs, a visit from , sweet treats, holiday music, and Christmas gifts!

With only days away, we took our resident Ed on an outing to shop for the spookiest costume he could find!

We celebrated our amazing cooks for with a special dinner at Venutis restaurant!

We continued our staff appreciation with this week! Both Environmental and CNA and DSP teams enjoyed tacos of their choice!

This week we're celebrating our DSPs and CNAs for CNA/DSP Week and our housekeeping, maintenance, and laundry departments for Environmental Services Week!
Today's theme was wear your most comfortable sweats with bagels and cream cheese breakfast!
Both teams do so much for our residents daily and we all of their hard work!

Happy Retirement Claudia! We said goodbye to one of our dearest employees of 22 years yesterday! We were so happy to celebrate her and glad we were able to surprise her with a special visit from her family!

Our residents had a very ! Santa stopped by to spread holiday cheer and bring gifts, which put huge smiles on their faces!

We like to keep our residents busy with fun activities, so what better way to enjoy a nice day out and have fun at the same time than by going on an outing to the ! Our residents Susie and John really enjoyed themselves!

Friday afternoon was the perfect day for a game! We took our residents to the Schaumburg Boomer game and they had a blast! Here are our residents Ed and Mike who are really big baseball fans!

Our residents took advantage of the beautiful weather we had over with outdoor games, activities, and a furry friend!

The residents at Trails requested a dance party, so that is just what we had! Our residents enjoyed dancing the afternoon away!

During the week of March 14th-18th we celebrate National Long-Term Care Administrator week!! This is the time we acknowledge and celebrate administrators for their leadership and service to residents, families, and staff!

We celebrated our dietary professionals with fun gifts and gift cards to show our appreciation during ! We are so appreciative for all they do in making sure our residents have a positive dining experience and are served delicious and nutritious meals!

We're celebrating ! The entire week has been dedicated to recognizing all the work our Activity Professionals do to enrich the lives of our residents. They play a huge part in keeping our residents happy and engaged!

We would like to recognize Natalie and Jim, our Activity Director and Assistant Activity Director for all the work they do. To celebrate them, we held a luncheon and presented them with these fun t-shirts as a Thank You from our team!
