George T. Carvell Foundation, Inc.

The George T. Carvell Foundation, Inc. was formed in honor of George T. Carvell by his grandson John McCready.

The Foundation awards an annual scholarship to a graduate from either Halifax, Millersburg, Upper Dauphin or Williams Valley School Districts, entering college in an environmental field. Funding for Foundation is through donations and an annual Golf Tournament at Lykens Valley Golf Resort.
